Bohinj Eco Hotel

We particularly liked the spa (Sauna) facility, as well as the salt therapy room. Using the Bohinj Card allows for great discounts at this hotel, as well as the travel and entry to local museums and attractions. Using free bus service to reach Bohinj lake saves on having to find parking.Excellent location for all, solo travellers, couples and families. Paddle boarding/ canoe/ boat hire at the lake is an excellent choice too - you will struggle to find a better view than that from the middle of the lake!

Food at the buffet dinner could be a tad hotter.

The breakfast was nice but quite basic, I wish there would have been a greater selection but what they had was good

We ordered a family room with a queen bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The aircon was on but not effective at all, so we had to use an additional table fan. The curtains didn’t really block out any sun (probably a family specific issue as our kids go to sleep early). Other than that the facilities were nice and clean, plenty of towels and comfy robe, super easy access to the pool

Great place for spending a vacation with family in a very beautiful and peaceful place. We had everything we needed and more. The room was bigger than expected, the aquapark was a very much appreciated activity and the restaurant was just excellent. Close to many amazing places to visit by car. Highly recommended.

Families with smaller children might have a bit of a challenge with washing the little ones, as the shower water comes from the very top without a shower handset (full body wash option only).

Staff were so attentive and friendly, super helpful and great with kids. The aquapark was great, very clean and fab for kids. Breakfast and dinner options were very nice, good variety. There were gluten free options available and the chef was always willing to talk through allergens. Bowling was open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and cost around €16 for an hour plus €1 each for shoe hire. Massage was very good. Book at reception for bowling and massage. I would recommend booking as soon as you arrive for extras such as bowling or massage as they got quite full up quickly. The location is amazing for local attractions, although there didn't seem to be much public transport so driving or possibly taxis would be best option. The town was nice with a supermarket, good pizza restaurant opposite the hotel and much quieter than Bled which was perfect for us. We had a great time and will definitely return!

The buffet restaurant was fantastic value for all the family and a great range of delicious food to satisfy kids and grown ups alike. The Aquapark was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The beds weren't the most comfortable I've ever slept on and room temp wasn't cool enough for us to have a great night's sleep. Minor issue though and may be fine for other people. Shower leaked a bit too. Again not a major issue.

We booked the most basic room type and it was much more spacious and equipped than expected, and very silent (no noise from the corridor or other rooms). We felt very comfortable. The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of options, including some local produce. We didn’t go to the Aquapark (too tired) but we would consider coming back and using it!

Only that it was a bit confusing to find the main entrance (coming on foot)

Amazing hotel, staff was very welcoming and willing to provide detailed information, our room was very clean and beds comfortable, only the pillows could be a bit thicker. Hotel has a great location since it is located within a walking distance from 2 grocery stores and only 10-minute drive from Bohinj lake. We enjoyed the views from the hotel (nature is astonishing) and their aqua park. We'll definitely be back.

Wonderful hotel and staff and service. Clean rooms, free parking, great food and great options for familly activities (aqua park, bowling, skating, spa, table tennis etc). We had a great time.

Just a reccomendation for a hotel - some kind of play room for toddlers and kids would be a great addition to the existing facilities.

Nice hotel for families. We loved the hotel´s aquapark and its baby pool with all toys. Wide offer of food for breakfast and dinner buffet. Our room was very big, we fitted a cot perfectly and our child had still place on the ground to crawl around.

Only a bit unfriendly staff and the tasting menu was for us not woth the money. The dinner buffet was in the end a better choice.

The food was ok. A lot of space and a fantastic wiew to the mountains. Fantastic to wake up to.

The airconditon was shut centraly at the hole hotel at 10.pm. which made the room terrible hot. Asked about the possibility for opening the aircondition with no result. But they gave os an electric fan.
