Best Western Central Hotel

The property was clean, parking available and the location was very central. The rooms have been cleaned, fresh towels and a clean beds every day. The breakfast area was very elegant and a nice Bar at the reception where you can have a drink or watch a soccer game in the evening. The hotel had also a restaurant. From parking guy to receptionist and waitress, everyone was friendly.

The unfriendly boss who started an argue with workers in the breakfast hall. He also did not manage to great guests when coming in.

Very clean and well maintained. Air con effective. Bar/restaurant/terrace very comfortable, pleasant spaces to hang out.

No shower curtain for the over the bath shower, meant that despite our best efforts the floor got flooded after every use. No grab rails or non slip mat in the bath. In all honesty I think it would be better to have a large shower cubicle rather than a bath in that space.

Typical of what you can expect from a Best Western Hotel. Clean, a little dated but all the facilities are there. Not much of a view from the room with heavy shutters (which we pulled up) and trees to bar the view. We only stayed in Arad on a stopover night from Brasov to Budapest. Visited a bar/restaurant on the river front. All was good.

Wonderful breakfast with a wide variety of choice; very comfortable room, warm and cosy - perfect for October! I liked the huge windows in the room.

We got there at night, the hotel was understaffed due to Corona, hence we were welcomed by the guardian who could not help us when the electronic key did not work to open the hotel room. Luckily, there was another employee from the hotel restaurant, with a master key and we could finally get into that comfortable room.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean. They have guarded parking lot that is very useful when you travel across the border and you have lots of luggage in the car. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious.

Perfect location, very clean, extremly comfort rooms, fantastic beds, food, space, quiet space, green environment, kindly staff.

Interent conection need to improve

The welcoming staff, their hospitality, the very cleaned room, the excellent bad & pillows and - last but not least - the super-tasty home made bread :)

The diversity of the Continental breakfast was not so extensive, a bit of more concern is nedded for the traditional dishes (like 'zacusca' or 'vinete') and not to serve them when they are on the edge... (already sauered), the small artificial roses on the table in the breakfast space can be missed (or replaced with some 'real' greenery, if 'real' flowers are not available), the tables into the garden need a bit of more .. cleaning :(

Situated in the centre of Arad, it was the best place for us for a one-night stopover. We had some hours to spare during the day, so it was effortless to visit the city on foot. The breakfast had plenty of choices, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The parking place and terrace is a big plus.

It can be hard to access the elevator for older people or those with heavy luggage, as it is not positioned on the ground floor, but you need to go up some stairs (few though).

The hotel is what you expect from the best western chain. Nothing too fancy (updated post-communist hotel), but the room is comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for exploring Arad center on foot. The generous and guarded parking is a big plus and breakfast buffet was sufficient with the possibility to sit outside. No traffic noise whatsoever, as the hotel is tucked away from the streets.

Party radio music at breakfast should be punishable 😇
