Very clean! Lovely staff as well! Comfy beds, great shower, the little pool was also nice on a hot day.

I thought this was a hotel, when really it is holiday apartments. Maybe I didn't read the listing properly, but I was disappointed there was no bar etc or any hotel services. I think for the price, it's a bit expensive for such small holiday apartments. We stayed in an air bnb before we moved here and that was 8 times the size and a quarter of the price.

The location is amazing, 5 minutes walk to train station, down into the plaza & all amenities. Manuel checked us in and out and is an asset to your business. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Room excellent.. we upgraded and it was worth it for the extra space and balcony with the views and sunset. Travelled with a friend and we both can’t recommend this hotel more. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good and was reasonably priced, we just like to eat out. Free tea and coffee was good and it was fresh bean coffee. I would come back to Faro and only stay here.

Nothing - absolutely nothing was wrong and as I travel a lot for work I can often grumble but not here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Roots. The staff were so friendly and really helpful. The room was really clean and comfortable. The pool area was lovely, secluded and really relaxing. The hotel offered breakfast boxes which can be delivered to the room, there was plenty in one box to share between 2 of us. The hotel is in a great location, a 5-10 minute walk to the marina. There were lots of nice bars and restaurants near by, I’d really recommend Madalena’s cocktail bar which we visited on a Saturday and they played records outside. Faro is a lovely area which is much less touristy that other resorts, the old town was lovely to walk around and get also took the train to see even more of the area, which was great value for money, only €6 per adult.

The only thing that could be improved is the storage space in the room, we stayed in a studio apartment and found there wasn’t enough storage space for our clothes so lived out of our suitcase.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were excellent. We were greeted by Manuel when we arrived, and he was extremely friendly and knowledgable. We didn't order breakfast here but there were facilities in the room, as well as a tea/coffee machine downstairs. Everything is very modern (so not for you if you want something quaint!) but it was exactly as described and very clean.

I don't remember being given the option of where our room faced when booking, but I may have forgotten! Unfortunately we were on the street side and this was quite noisy at night. When booking, try to get a room that overlooks the pool!

Loved the spacious new shower and bathroom. Having all the amenities in the room if you want to cook something was a plus. The coffee and hot chocolate machine was fantastic off the reception area. The very comfortable bed and patio was lovely to eat outside and get some sun. I didn't use the hot tub off the coffee room or dishwasher in the room, but it was available. The reception and housekeepers were very helpful and friendly. Excellent facility centrally located with many excellent restaurants just a few doors away. Walking distance to bus and train. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Absolutely outstanding. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, apartment was clean and spacious, facilities were great, the balcony overlooking the pool area was perfect. The pool was a lovely place to spend a few hours and the coffee machine downstairs was very welcome. The location was ideal, a short walk from central Faro and the harbour, close to many options to eat out, bus and train facilities. There is also a mini-supermarket just around the corner for breakfast stuff. Faro itself has heaps of character and is so much more interesting than the soulless resorts just down the coast. I travelled with my son to celebrate his 18th birthday and we had a truly memorable time. I would happily go back to Portugal just to stay here!

Location was amazing, nice and quiet but also only a 5 minute walk to the local shops and centre. The little town was lovely in the day and entertaining at night with bars and restaurants and little market shops ! It was perfect! Not too busy not too quite And the Hotel was incredible !! Very clean and comfortable, very modern and tidy. It has a cute little balcony and good storage space, there was also a little kitchenette to cook your own food !! Pool was lovely, not very big but very relaxing and peaceful !! We stayed for 3 nights for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect!! Will 100% be coming back 🩵

Location was very central to my conference venue in Faro and all the networking bars and hotel venues I had to attend in the city. It was also a walking distance from the night life bars and club scenes. The hotel was very clean and spacious, I had 2 separate rooms (bedroom and lounge) to work with. The staff were really helpful when I needed directions and assistance.

I didn't like the fact that there was no proper breakfast facilities on site, but because of the central location that was not a problem. I also had a fridge and little kitchenette in my room so it was easy to buy breakfast stuff and store

I loved how clean the rooms were, usually on holiday I always do a clean for my own satisfaction; but for roots hotel I genuinely didn’t have to do a thing. That is when you know you have a very clean accommodation. It had all the requirements & was very close to the airport making travel cheap. There’s a lot of food places near by, which is excellent. it’s a 40 mins drive to Albufeira (touristy area), but it’s alright when you distribute the costs between a group & the journey is beautiful. The staff were very sweet & understanding and helpful. They let us stay in the lobby since we had a late flight & kept our bags safe.

Decent clean apartment and staff are brilliant. Every one of them are polite and just nice! They greeted me every time I left the hotel and got back. Great place to live in Faro. Train and bus station are literally 2/3 minutes walk away. Downtown Faro is 3/4 minutes. Btw, the housekeeping team is great, too! :)

Hotel being on a relatively busy road, apartments facing the road can hear the traffic when the balcany doors are open. The weather was lovely during my stay so I wanted to sit in the sun for a bit but due to the traffic noise I couldn't enjoy the balcany as much as I would have liked. Having said that, though perks outweigh the drawback for sure. I'd happily stay again when I get down next.
