Novotel Poznań Malta

We where planning to visit the aqua park in Poznan so location was dab as the hotel is right next to it. The downside was the there is no shops , restaurants nearby other then the hotel one which we thought was overpriced and food was not what we expected either.

Rooms are good value for money and addition of small pool was great though food was overprized, service very slow and kids portions little embarrassing..My 8 year old picked pierogi that ment to be good for kids up to 12yrs old and he got served 4 or 5 pierogi ( had to wait for it close to 1h!)..and had to eat half of my husbands dinner. There is little to none of other restaurants or shops nearby. On positive site though a short walk from the hotel you could catch a tram to Poznan city centre ( 10min on tram ) where there was good celection of restaurants.

Very nice and helpful employees! Nice rooms, good space. Very good breakfast. Extremely clean everywhere. Hammocks and sun beds in the garden, volleyball and the ball could be borrowed from the reception. Free X-box with games and board games in the lobby area. 2 min walk from the Aqua Park - Termy Maltanskie. Lots of parks, walking paths, climbing park, bungee in the close vicinity.

Missing air condition in the rooms on the ground floor. I was there twice during the summer and the room on the 1 floor has air condition installed. Quite boring food for lunch, dinner.

- Excellent kitchen: big choice breakfast and daily fresh bread. Also other courses very tasty (and believe me, I am picky/ have developed taste ;)) - Very close to Termy: via shortcut only 2 minutes walk. - Staff in general very helpful (most of them friendly but not exaggerated).

- People smoking on courtyard, hence when keeping windows open for fresh air...... a dedicated place, for example in front of hotel could be a solution. - Beds very low and interiour dated (hence bit misleading, making it a bit overpriced to me); package deals when staying more days receiving a discount would be more attractive.

Fantastic location near the lake with plenty of activities for the whole family and places to eat. Hotel itself is very modern, clean, has a outdoor pool with free to use accessories such as floties etc. stuff very helpfull, rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. We coulndt have asked for more. Very enjoyable stay. Cleaners were in every single day at our convinient time keeping room clean and tidy.

I honestly cannot fault anything about this place.

the restaurant and stuff are very professional and friendly also for kids secure parking is perfect for guests driving further.

the hotel rooms are clean however you do notice they are aged.

Great location by the Malta lake. We walked along the lake to the old town, which took us through lovely parts of Poznan. On the way back, we took the little Malta train towards the aqua park near the hotel (for which we got a discount from the hotel but did not get a chance to try). We were staying in the hotel to attend a family wedding outside Poznan, but due to the lovely outdoor swimming pool and the restaurant with the outdoor seating, it felt like we were on holiday. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. They had a good selection of local food, which we very much enjoyed sampling. The cakes, in particular, were excellent. The rooms were in a neutral tasteful decor (white + wood).

Sometimes the service in the restaurant was a little slow - not enough staff.

The breakfasts were very good. Everyone can find their favorite products. The location of the hotel is the main reason for my choice. Close to Malta Lake and a large swimming pool complex. There is also a huge park next door. Everything worth recommending. The hotel also has its own swimming pool. Parents with children have fun because there is a lifeguard on site.

No air conditioning in some rooms. Please make sure your room has one when booking.

The hotel was great, the room was very clean and large with a double bed and an extra sofa. The bed was very comfy, the staff was very professional and breakfast was exceptional, variety of food, great coffee and a great choice of tea. I would recommend the hotel for a short break and long break. Very short distance to Thermal baths Malta. All buses and trains are very close to the hotel so it is very good for a commute. I am sure I will be back.

The lift was not working

Rooms were very comfy and of a high cleanliness standard! I had a beautiful stay with my 6 year old child. Pool was glorious with a nice patio area and next to the restaurant and bar for convenience. I would call this hotel child friendly but definitely not invaded by kids! It’s classy but with both indoor and outdoor children’s areas. There’s a kind of common area with free digital entertainment along with younger kids’ toys. 22 minutes with the tram from Poznań main station (Glowny) but direct on the number 6. Tram stops out the front of the hotel! Easy to get into the old town by tram, they come approx. every 10 mins. The hotel is HUGE. Breakfast was always busy but there was constantly food being brought out by the kitchen staff. Breakfast was great! Beds comfortable. Would happily stay again:)

There was often only one person on reception so the line was long, even to ask a simple question guests may have to wait 10+ minutes.

Was able to book the hotel on the same day as check in for a great price. The location is great, on a side of a pig park and 10min walk away from Lake Malta where there are lots of attractions. The restaurant had lots of choices and dinner was very tasty, as well as great breakfast. The hotel has an outdoor pool which on a hot summers day was very useful.

Had to pay for parking, though 30min are free in case of drop off/pick up.
