Escala Tagaytay

Friendly staff. Amazing views of the volcano and the mountains / lake. The rooms are modern and were clean and had all the basic tolietries. Good selection of food for the breakfast buffet that tasted great. The pool has amazing views and is quite large. Only thing is the pool doesn't seem to be heated and is cold early in the morning. Hotel location is very good. About a 5min walk to a small little shopping complex and local resuatrants. Sky ranch is also right next door.

I didn’t like having to pay for an extra pillow and extra water. There’s no cell signal.

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was good. The view is of course is amazing, and the highlight of the hotel.

Rooms could be quieter. I could hear water running thru the pipes whenever people from nearby rooms use their bathroom. Wedding was held during my stay there, which was very bothersome for other guests since the hotel is not that big so they occupied a large portion of the common areas. Area were wedding was held was also very open and right next to lobby. So noise/music from the wedding permeated the whole hotel.

location, view and food

1. pool dont have heating system. it was freezing especially foggy season like at this time. they must have it because it is the main attraction of the hotel. 2. they should have proper swimming pool attire rules. most of the guest are in shirts, normal shorts and not in proper swimming costumes while swimming in that very stunning infinity pool with a 1 million dollar view. 3. no bath robe in the room.

Love the food at Belissima. View is good and relaxing. Love the acoustic during dinner. Spa was good.

Blow dryer in the room not working. Noise at the pool, noise coming from ceiling and you can hear every time someone is walking at the corridor. Door locks a bit jammed for both rooms we have occupied.

Room is clean and common areas are not too crowded. Overall, place is relaxing.

Ala carte food is too salty and oily. Breakfast is too dry as well. Pool is not heated and with Tagaytay’s usual weather, swimming in their pool was quite a challenge.

the breakfast was good, the location was good, the parking was convenient, the room, bed and amenities were good, the view was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the check in and check out process were good

there was a wedding so they had to use the main restaurant area ... the function room became the alternative venue for dining of the hotel guests and walk ins but it was not arranged well so we ended up eating in our room

The location was nice just beside the skyranch. The room was clean though we hoped we could have an option to have 1 king size bed instead of 2 double beds. The food tastes great too, and the staff was very friendly.

There are some facilities that are quite untidy.

The view is amazing and it's perfect for a couple of days rest by the pool.

Facilities are a bit ageing. Quite some noise from the hall way, and there was some water dripping in the bathroom the hotel couldn't fix that made it difficult to sleep at night

The view was Outstanding from the poolside. The staff were so respectful and attentive to the guest needs. The housekeeping attended to our needs immediately as we requested. Overall, the stay was great. 9.8/10

The shower door might need some updating in our room. Overall, there is not much negative to comment on the facility
