Their system and the way they handle paying customer. I booked the hotel thru booking.com clearly mentioning the age of my two accompanying sons, got the confirmation and the final price for the stay mentioning the age of my accompanying kids. With that in mind I don’t expect any additional charges upon arrival as it is all declared on the final price. Upon arrival to my surprise that reception told me I have to pay 50% for the breakfast of my 8 year old son. If I have mentioned the age of my two sons during booking which is mentioned on the confirmation and was given the final price why was it not charged during the booking.

We always stayed in this hotel every time we visit Manila. We like the rooms. It's clean and staff are professional and attentive.

The only negative issue we have during our last stay is that when we are tired of eating breakfast at 27th flr we go to the deck to try Filipino breakfast and we always order diamond ice tea which is one of our favorite drinks to our surprised our waiter informed we have to pay for the drink because they do not have it on the deck and they have to order it on the 27th flr. During our previous stay back on Sept 2022 our waiter didn't charges us for the drink so why are they charging us now. This drink should be offer to all buffet areas with no extra charge.

First and foremost, Makati Diamond has stellar customer service. From booking car service from the airport to AC issues to dry cleaning, Makati Diamond treated every ask and inquiry with priority. Breakfast and Happy Hours on the 27th floor were rarely missed because of primarily the customer service. Ian, DJ and Vince were our go-to's to make the best cappuccino's at all hours of the day and if there are other asks outside of breakfast and happy hour. And always a friendly, welcoming face to ask how your day is going.

Although the concierge staff on the 1st floor were always responsive, it would be great if they could provide a larger variety of store/service suggestions and appointments.

This is my 2nd time around staying in this Hotel. As always, exceptional service by the staff. Very courteous and will assist you all the time. Location wise, its perfect. Just right across the mall. Very convenient. Room wise, clean as always and very cozy. Comfy Bed and Pillows. The kitchenette is a plus if you wanna cook noodles or Ramen. Complete with eating and cooking utensils. I extended my stay for another 4 nights. I could have checked in with other hotel but I ended up staying here, coz it feels like home. As a solo traveller, I feel secured in this area. They’ve got guards and K9 dogs. The bellboys are very attentive to assist you. The waiters at the breakfast buffet are readily available to assist you. Great Hotel to stay in, highly recommended.

The housekeepers were very helpful with whatever we needed for the room.

We were suppose to get free drinks at the bar/cocktail hour as part of our reservations. However, we weren’t allowed to go because of my 11 year old son. My son is a well behave child, probably better than most adults. We should have at least allowed to go inside and if there would be an incident which my son was not behaving well, we would gladly leave the premises. Our family travels a lot and we never had any issues at all with any of the amenities provided by a hotel except Diamond residences, such a bummer!

I really enjoyed how accommodating all the staff were at this hotel. The staff made sure that I was safe and made sure that I had everything I needed. There were many instances that surprised me when the staff went above and beyond.

The only thing I didn't like was the temperature in the room I had. In the beginning the room temperature was too cold for me and I called the staff to fix the temperature and they did their best to lower the temperature in the room so that I could feel more comfortable.

First thr proximity to the nearest and best mall in makari. It's literally 15 meters opposite the entrance. The staff was exceptional , the security ...is worst that airport (but it also put me in thinking about the safety in such a central point) from the concierge to the reception to the coffee restaurant, cleaners everyone so polite and helpful. The room I stayed it was on the 20th floor looking towards the greenbelt zone. The bed , pilows , linean was one of the best I had ever sleeped in a hotel. It was really clean , the water was drinkable, the shower pressure perfect,,there is a small fridge and kitchenette for something quick if you want also. But at some points, you could see that it's overused from the years, though It's still in very good condition. The pool and the gym I didn't use them , just visit them, and they look perfect for the place. The coffee and the snacks inside the hotel were really good, even a little be pricey. I think it is the best place you can stay in the makari area.

The traffic most of the day....so it was difficult to reach to the hotel f you were moving arround metro manilla. The rooms they are not sound prof. I could hear the people talking ,walking, cleaning the corridor outside and next room people speaking...

Comfortable and clean. Staff was respectful.

No USB outlets in the room, so charging USB peripherals had to be done with my own laptops. There were no power outlets that were easily accessible near the bed or the working desk making it difficult to use a laptop to do business or work. The breakfast in the Filipino room and Alfred was cold. The fried eggs looked nice, but that was it. It was cold and runny. The scrambled eggs in both rooms were soupy which combined with inadequate warming devices could invite bacteria leading to sickness. The food warming/heating lamps, I believed, were inadequate to keep the food heated. In my opinion, it was mainly for looks - not functional.

Room was spacious and comfortable. TV had many channels including lots of English channels. Lounge is comfortable and spacious. The room has a washing machine, dryer, stove and cooktop! Breakfast is really good with lots of options, and they make different things daily so it's not always a repetitive breakfast! Location is excellent with very easy access to many large malls including Greenbelt and SM.

Some of the bed sheets had minor stains, however housekeeping was always fast and ready to assist in anything we needed changed.

Literally one of the best hotels in makati. It is a 5 star hotel and its a 5 star hotel for a reason. I stayed here a couple of times so far. Probably stayed for 3/4 days cuz i tend to extend my stay depending how much i like the hotel. But at the same time it is a bit pricey but not that pricey compared probably to okada or shangrila the fort. The place looks elegant at the same time simple. Staff are extremely nice, friendly and respectful and very attentive including security. I always love when the people i talk to are very knowledgeable and can recommend and help me find places nearby so thats a Big PLUS. Food is tasty you have options like if you want filipino food which is located at the roof deck. Then you also have prob international food i think i forgot what front desk said which is located downstairs i think. But honestly i only went for the filipino food which actually tasted really good. Internet is stable and has a fast speed not like on some 100mbps type speed but fast enough speed to watch HD shows without buffering. Room is beautiful simple but stunning especially if i were to buy my own condo i would like mine set up how makati diamond is set up. The bed was super comfortable pillows were soft. Washer dryer cleans good and also drys good which is super important to me. Shower pressure was strong and the rain shower feature that it has idk what you call it specifically but it was good. Bathroom was really spacious. Cleanliness in general is 10/10 when room services come they really do a good job fixing the bed and cleaning. Overall i honestly got nothing bad to say about this place because i really love this place. I highly recommend it to people who are traveling solo like me who hotel hops from different places. Its worth the money being spent <3. I will come back for sure if i ever need a hotel in makati.
