Citadines Bay City Manila

Location close to the airport. We were only there for the night.

Very difficult to book airport transfer with the hotel. Once you're there the staff are great and it's not problem but had trouble contacting the hotel, tried booking . com messenger app, email and phone. Again the staff were very accommodating it was just tough to reach someone.

property and location fantastic, next to the airport so no hassle getting back. staff were very polite and rooms were spot on. Room service was excellent and can’t fault them for it.

had some minor issues with the reception staff. told them that i will be leaving the property on 14 nights whilst my Filipina girlfriend will stay for extra night as i was leaving the 14 night back to my home country. only problem was that they did not take full payment for the extra room upgrade even though i told them in advance to pay fully for room as i was leaving the following night.

stay 11 days in citadines, and it feel like my home, room cleaning check, The guards are good, the people sorounding are good, mall of asia are near you can walk it like ten minutes you are already in moa, but there is a one problrm, wgen i call early in the morning to ask assist for check out no one answering the telephone so i thought there is no people, so i decide to go down for checkout, i got surprise when i see they are there, two employee of that hotwl are there, why they dint answer the phone, And God willing, when I come next time, I want you to put on Saudi channels, such as the Holy Quran channel and the Sunnah channel, Belize, because I will return to the Philippines soon and this hotel is one of my favorites now. Thank you

The breakfast buffet is well worth the cost compared to the ala carte menu and the food is fresh and contains a range of western and Pilipino foods. Only thing lacking is oatmeal. The room was roomier than I expected considering our other stays in the area over the last few years. the location is excellent as several features such as the harbor front, MOA and Ayalla malls are within a 15 minute walk. The work out facility is much better than any I have seen and there was never a line to use the laundry facilities which are co-located with the gym so you have something to do while the washing machine runs.

When we arrived, we got an upgrade which was super nice. The staff was also extremely kind and professional. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you need. I can imagine it being a good place when you're staying for a longer time. Mall of Asia is at a walking distance (around 15 - 20min), which is super nice.

The only problem we had with our room was that there was a faint moldy smell (or a gutter smell). We couldn't figure out where it came from exactly, but I have a sensitive nose and therefore had some trouble sleeping with a disturbing smell like that. My boyfriend on the other hand, had no issues. We also had breakfast, which was honestly a bit disappointing. The food didn't taste good and there was very little variety. I think, being in the city, you're better off going to a breakfast place elsewhere and pay less for better food.

Beautifully designed hotel with great location in Manila. We stayed here only 2 nights but everything was amazing. Staff was super kind and attentive. Rooms were spacious. We found ourselves booking citadines throughout philippines and Japan. We love citadines

Only thing is that the room had a weird musky smell when we got in, so we had our Aircon working all the time. Maybe its carpets that need changing. Curtains old and with some stains on them.

near Walter mart and there are food options there (MOA was too far of a walk) The bed was good and restful

Where to park was not too clear. I made the initial mistake of parking at Walter mart basement parking after the U turn. I realized from the lobby guard that I had to go to the other side of the building. I though walking to SMX convention center would be easy but it was a bit too far. The breakfast options are not really very many, If I knew this I would rather have had breakfast outside The safe was not working so we had to call housekeeping then security Better if a shuttle was graciously provided No aircon control options

Second time I’ve stopped here in the past year with my fiancée. Upon arrival it was my engagement and the management/staff responded with a great reception that felt very welcoming and can’t fault the efforts made by the maids in preparation of the room with a nice gift for my new engaged fiancée. It’s great location (near the airport), friendly staff and very helpful when buying food groceries from the near by mall by delivering to your room. The maids help with all your requests and respond immediately. Security guards are very professional and help with taxi services (like grab) by opening the door when arriving from your day trips and also helping when travelling away from the hotel. I don’t really have anything to say negatively about this hotel as all the staff and management are extremely professional and thank you for your service during my long stay here for 3 weeks. felt like home with extreme politeness and respect like us British people are back in the UK. i will definitely come back again with high expectations as the level of professionalism is great.

- Friendly and polite staff from the guard, pool staff, bellhops and restaurant staff. Quick to offer assistance even without asking. - Not very crowded in terms of waiting for the elevator or using the pool and gym - The huge water dispenser instead of asking for multiple small water bottled that fill up the trash immediately - Impeccably clean rooms

Most probably falls on policies than actual staff training: - They didn’t allow charges to room, even if bill is below $25 worth. So you have to always bring cash or card. I’d rather they held a huge amount from our platinum card upon checkin than deal with this hassle throughout - No flexibility regarding check-in or check-out times. They were too quick to say they’re at full capacity despite the evident lack of guests - Room service comes in a tray, no table or extra chairs so it’s difficult to eat with a partner if you only had a studio room like us
