Cebu R Hotel Capitol

Clean and friendly staff. One thing I liked the most is they have perfectly working shower heater and a/c (at least to the 2 rooms assigned to us). They even helped us with our luggage which I don't usually experience to other budget hotels. If you plan to go canyoneering/whale shark viewing/sumilon island, the commute is more or less 3 hrs, but it is just around 30 mins away from the airport to the hotel (we were picked up around 10am) so I think the location is pretty advantageous for me. Commute is also much easier (compared to other hotels I've stayed near the airport) as you can just use the Grab app to book a ride.

I hope they provide more food choices for breakfast (e.g. green salad, pancakes, brewed coffee as they only serve instant coffee, fried rice etc). They should also improve the sound proofing as I can hear the people talking while they pass our room. But given the price and other good things, I think these are not deal breakers but would be great if improved

The staff are nice and very helpful. Always assisting us for every needs during the short vacation in Cebu. Great location and worth the money. Can't complain.

Not much to complain about as the facilities and services are worth the money paid. The only discomfort was to get out of the hall to get hot water for coffee in the wee hours of the morning.

The rooms are cleaned and well-maintained. I booked three rooms for my family. I am grateful because they made a free upgrade to 1 of our hotel rooms. I also appreciate that there is a water refilling station in the hallway. The breakfast was good. The dining area is also well-maintained. The staff were also helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. It was near local restaurants, convenience stores, and coffee shops.

We have free breakfast and the location is very accessible to places we visited.

Free water in the ground floor and when my husband asked for a hot water in the morning like 5:45 AM, the male staff who on duty wasn't happy and my husband said he was rude when he was attending to his request.

Cozy, clean hotel and very accommodating staff. A choice of room service for the breakfast or on the ground floor dining area. Water dispenser on the lobby so can easily get cold or hot water anytime. very close to an outdoor barbecue restaurant and walking distance to the Capitol and other places to eat.

The shower curtain was too short so the rest of the toilet floor gets soaked after a shower. The room allocated to us has a nice big window but all we could see was a wall.

We stayed in a suite and it was big with a bathtub. The location is not on the main mango square area. Take the main route to walk and reach the hotel (you will pass by a 7/11). If you take the other route which google normally shows then its pretty dark and uncomfortable to walk. Safety wise the hotel is great since they lock the doors and a guard is there to open it for you.

We weren't too happy with the location initially but somehow we managed around. It's our fault that we didn't do our part of research before booking. But otherwise its a nice hotel and completely safe. No issues with Grab and walking from the other side (the 7/11 side of main road)

The staff are the best. They were very accommodating and considerate. The room was clean and very spacious. Has all what you basically need for your stay. Free Breakfast. My Husband and daughter love their pancake. The bangus though was quite a small portion. Free water in the hallway. Location is also very good. Alot of restaurants and cafe nearby.

The Suite Room's bathroom can improve though. The water is pooling on the edges of the tub and there are moldy spots.

Location is walking distance to 2 Robinsons, the Cebu Provincial Capitol and public transport. Very helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast. Free hot & cold drinking water. Strong free WIFI. Reasonable price. We booked a room for 2 pax and we got a free upgrade to deluxe (good for 4).

We got everything we needed for the stay in Cebu R Hotel, so there's nothing we didn't like.

Clean facilities. Quiet place. Accommodating Staff.

Food. They asked us to wait for 1hr. because they will cook our food and there are other customers. Besides, we are not informed to order our food ahead of time so that we will not wait. And also, we need to pay for the coffee, sugar, and cream when we ask for it to drink in our room. Our first time to pay for the sachet of coffee, cream, and sugar. Very expensive.

Location is pretty much good, though you should get an assistance from the reception or security if you would like to take a taxi because there is no much of taxis passing by on location. However, you could still get one. Breakfast is fine. You could choose some Filipino breakfast dishes you wish to have. I would suggest of an additional of Alice of fruit.

The tv function of the room since the tv had a set timer and turns off automatically though it was fixed before few days of our check-out.
