Hilton Salalah Resort

The hotel was beautiful with friendly and helpful staff. They were acomodating to late arrival and were super hospitable when we checked out with hours until our flight. Especially Lutfur who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during meal times and after check out while we stayed in the cafe area. There's nothing much around but the hotel could call us transport which is good.

The hotel (being a resort) was super far from many things. The beach is a bit of a walk from the resort with no boardwalk so it is difficult to get there. The pool being directly in front of the restaurant was a little weird.

The rooms were big and clean The hotel is quiet and in a good location

the toilet wasn’t too clean. the bath rope and the slippers were not available in the room until we asked for. the breakfast was good but everyday the same. no variety of food. So many food was canned not fresh.

Loved the hospitality especially Ellen at reception was exceptional. They have renovated the premises and all facilities were up to date. Room service had good offers and all the staff in general lived upto our expectations from a five star resort

Only one restaurant— the other was closed.. limited a la carte options in restaurant and not daily buffet service for lunch or dinner Cafe did not live up to the expectation— no snacks or pastries included in the menu. Cappuccino was just a double espresso with a bit of foam on top. Staff there looked confused and took a long time in taking our order and to make the bill as well ?!!

Excellent location by the beach. Close to the airport and many locations in Salalah city(e.g. Sooq Alhafa) Quiet hotel for relaxation, Nice hotel garden and swimming pool overlooking the Auwqad beach, great long beach for walking, 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel garden. The breakfast was great. The staff at reception and the breakfast restaurant were very helpful. I would like to thank all reception and restaurant staff. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Every thing was great

The stuff was incredibly nice/helpful and friendly, the room was huge, everything was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the food was good, nice breakfast!

unfortunately you have to walk a few minutes to reach the sea but that seemed to be usual around the area.

We were a family of 4 Adults who could share 1 room, which is quite rare generally. We had 2 Queen Sized beds in the spacious room. There is a pool and beach in the vicinity. We didn't have the breakfast as the package we bought needed us to pay separately.

I have been to a couple of Hilton's before, but this was ever so slightly underwhelming. Mostly it's got to do with being in village/ town of sorts and not a proper full fledged city. But the service and hospitality was exceptional and so was the view.

Some reviewers gave not good result with the breakfast, but when we stayed there, the breakfast was good. But we would like to advise regarding the porridge, the porridge is too sweet, kindly ask the chef to learn how to make the porridge from Indonesia, the porridge of Indonesia is famous and tasty.

There is building construction on-going there, so from the main street to the car entrance to the hotel is bit unpleasant.

Suggestions to improve. This resort mainly for families to enjoy. More effort is required to improve the facilities that could be useful such as sitting area on the beach side. Kids playground needs full improvement and more activities. Beach needs to have good access although it is public but hotel customers required a good access with protection.

The hotel was great. But I thought Salalah didn’t need a hotel as I couldn’t enter the water and there is no time for the swimming pool if you go out to enjoy the nature.

* The staff was helpful and resolved various questions quickly; * The breakfast variety was very high fir meat-eaters and changed a lot from day to day; * The location by the sea is excellent, approx. 15 minutes from city centre

* The hotel is already quite old and even if it is well-maintained, the age is visible; * The consideration for sustainability is low. Plastic cups in the rooms, a receptionist not knowing that there are recycling bins at the hotel (there is, although I doubt that the waste is recycled) and limited vegetarian options at breakfast I would expect to see a more ambitious approach at an international hotel chain; * Although the hotel is relatively small, the walking distance from room to parking, pool and beach are quite big. I am not against the walking, but it feels a bit strangely planned
