The room was nicely designed/decorated, and it was clean and spacious, and thankfully the same can be said for the bathroom. My room had a nice view to the river and the room had great good furniture and other details that I appreciate a lot: like a full body mirror, and ironing table with and iron machine, and some hangers and places to hang clothes. Also a little desk, useful when I need to write or work a little.

Here I am really in the realm of nit-picking because I had no complaints for the hotel, maybe that the switches to turn off the lights were on only one-side of the bed, making it hard to turn off from the other? I hope you can see this is something silly and minor. Also, I didn't use the gym so I cannot speak of it, but I really have no complaints as for the rest. I have tried three hotels in Drammen and this is by far the best so far.

Overall we enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and we liked that there was a smart TV in the room so we were able to cast Netflix and enjoy watching our favorite shows. The room was comfortable and the hotel felt new.

The only reason I scored the hotel 9/10 is the vegan options for breakfast. It was nice to see several plant-based milks, but I wish there were actually vegan food options like plant-based chesses, cream cheese (there was a sign for a plant-based cheese but it kinda felt like no one from the kitchen has ever seen that actually and there wasn't any served). Hot options, like potatoes and beans should be signed as vegans if they are (we had to ask several times if these dishes are vegans), and overall it was pretty sad that we paid for breakfast but didn't eat anything. I'm sure non-vegans, such as people with lactose intolerance, would enjoy those options as well, so you should consider that. There's no parking available at the hotel, so you'll need to pay for parking.

I was actually quite surprised by the hotel, because I only book places with a grade above 9, but in Norway it would cost a fortune to do so. The place was very clean, the bed was very confortable, and more important, although the thermostat was set to 17 degrees, we had a really pleasant sleep, because the room insulation was good and we had a thick duvet. Also, our room had a nice view to the mountains and we enjoyed a good breakfast. We really appreciated the staff suggestions for parking and places to eat.

Nothing to complain about. It exceeded our expectations.

Style, layout of rooms. Beds did not cause back issues like most hotels.

Did not like the the temperature in the room. Thermostats did not go lower than 17 c but the actual temp in the room was between 22-24, which makes me suspect the thermostat is for show and all rooms are kept at the same temp. Because of this we really had a hard time falling asleep the fist night as it was just too hot and of course you cant let air in thru the windows either.

Thanks to the very kind staff who were helpful in answering all of our questions. We also liked the comfortable beds and new-looking clean room and the many options for breakfast (including vegan/vegetarian/glutenfree ones). The convenient location close to the train station was also a great plus!

There could have been more hooks/places to hang your towels. But that’s a very minor issue.

All brand new, fresh, lovely interiour, futniture, if you like Scandinavian quality/design. Absolutely loved the view over Drammen river from 9th floor. Good, quiet ventilation system. Delicious breakfast and wide range of food, lots of options for gluten, lactose intolerances, great coffee, nice fruit. Supercool, modern, urban lobby, restaurant and breakfast hall design. Perfect sound insulation despite the nearby train station. Had a lovely rest and enjoyed everything.

River Station is my prefered hotel in Drammen. Central location, good breakfest, kind personel,... and a nice additional touch: table football and shuffle board.

Everything was fine... Maybe next time room to look at the river side.

The location was around 100 yards from the station which was perfect for me or anyone using train rather than car. Very comfortable duvets, restaurant very good too, no reason not to return here 😊

Dinner and breakfast was very good. The two guys running restaurant were really nice and made the experience very good, also did the receptionist. The girls helping in the breakfast were also very friendly. Bedroom view is amazing and the bed is very comfortable. Well done all I had such a great night of sleep and eaten super well.
