Brylin Motel

she was amazing, attentive and accommodating. The room is ample, has plenty of out door spaces within the room. Ours had two large balconies and one terrace. There were fans, nice kitchen, parking and a 3 minute drive from restaurants, government gardens and the Maori town "waka" (can't remember the full name) all great places to see and visit. The room is no frills so no pool, or facilities. But that's not important. In reality waking up and having breakfast outside listening to the birds. And the peace and quiet overnight was well worth it. If you are desperate for some entertainment, there is a large screen with netflix, local TV , YouTube. Well worth it. Recommended.

The whole town sometimes smells like sulfur due to the proximity to the volcano but that is just nature. Nothing can be done about it. The place is great but bear in mind the smell so you are prepared.

Staff were excellent. Had a unit with 2 balconys. Beds were very comfy. Shower was great! Sliding doors off each room was lovely for fresh air. Heat pump great. Also good location as everything needed within a few minutes of property.

Just a few things: Extra pillows needed on beds. Only 1 mirror in bathroom another upstairs would be good. Extra lock on front door needed as kids slept downstairs as this is where single beds were. Some hooks in bathroom for robe/clothes. Lamp in lounge area. Very creaky floors. And sorry but not as clean as I would expect.

This is my favorite place to stay in Rotorua. Firstly Charmaine at reception - absolutely lovely! goes above and beyond for guests and is always so nice! The rooms themselves are super nice and clean! The 2 bedroom apartments are great for families and so spacious! Smart TV, spa, full kitchen - the only thing missing is a washing machine/dryer. 100% recommend staying here!

Parking can be a bit fiddly... also washing machine/dryer in room for longer stays would be great but not a deal breaker :)

A spacious room which was wonderful for my 14 month old to play around in and stretch her legs. We had a multi-level room which was a treat after staying in a couple hotels along the way. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in Rotorua

The bathroom on the bottom floor was a bit inconvenient if we awoke in the middle of the night, but it wouldn't deter me from booking this property again.

Comfy bed, although comforter was heavy for summertime. Host was SUPER friendly and helpful!!! Good value for price. Close enough to walk to restaurants and grocery. Safe area. Plenty of space for couple or small family.

Slow internet. Can't lock door from outside, so everyone slams doors as they leave. Shower really needs a shelf. No milk supplied for tea/coffee.

We had room Nr. 9 with 2 stories. Really nice bathtub with jets and spacious rooms with kitchen and lounge. The best thing was we had 3 balconies/veranda it was beautiful.

Housekeeping could have been better the bedroom upstairs didn't get done, also at one point we didn't have enough towels cause they had been removed from the bathroom and they didn't put enough new towels there.

Location and the Motel Room was well equipped.Home away from home.Comfort above and beyond expectations- bed and pillows were super comfortable.Everything was new and very clean.Lovely peaceful environment.Close enough to walk to Town- Supermarkets and Takeaways. Just remember to book your car spot as the Motel-does get busy.

Not alot here to not like.

Tidy, shower was good, beds we’re comfortable and location close to town, nice having a small deck area outside too.

The only thing was that the bathroom/toilet was downstairs and the parking was quite tight we had the neighbour parked almost right up against our door, having a laundry facility would have been great too!

The 2 bedroom family apartment was fantastic. Spacious, clean and it had everything we needed. The manager and staff were friendly and welcoming, very close to restaurants, cafes and shops down the road. Close to drive to any activities and the car park was half under cover right outside our door. It was also quiet as the apartment was down a driveway. Exactly what we wanted for our stay in Rotorua.

Very handy to all amenities. Staff were very friendly and the cleaner was so lovely and helpful as well. Loved the spa and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well which was great for us as previous Motels they didn’t work.

A bit dated in the kitchen and stove top was very burnt on. Microwave could do with an update..
