Owner at reception was nice and friendly. property allowed pets- the private backyard was perfect for us to have our small dogs.

On my birthday & public holiday- we were preparing to go out to our bookings. however a man came to spray and spray the lawns without saying anything - leaving the gates opened and our dogs going crazy luckily they were not outside at that time. we then had to spend the next 30-40 mins calming our dogs while he did his job. whats worst is when having a conversation between us- as i wondered why there was someone doing maintenance when our unit said DO NOT DISTURB, on a public holiday, right at lunch time (we could have planned a bbq at that moment - or using the backyard space we paid for)- the man mowing the lawns answered in our conversation and yelled “Shut up” at me.

Really friendly & helpful staff - we were arriving after hours and they left our room unlocked and lights on which was really appreciated 🙏 Very spacious room, comfy bed and ample cooking supplies (though we did not cook). We would happily stay again next time we’re in town.

It is on a fairly busy road so there is some road noise. It’s to be expected though when staying near the city, so bring earplugs if you’re not used to it.

Spacious room that had its own yard and outdoor furniture which we could not use for the cold weather anyways, but it would be fantastic in summer. The host acknowledges the needs fast and is generous for towels. The size of 2 bedroom unit was really good. The size of kitchen and living area with the dining table and sofa is also wonderful. VERY COMFORTABLE STAY.

Laundry room is filthy, including the old washing machine and dryer. The power in the unit kept cutting when multiple electronics are connected. ie. When 3 items like the heat pump + refrigerator + a panel heater are plugged, if the bathroom fan heater is added, the switch in the hub went down in the unit I stayed. Same goes for the addition of air fryer+kettle together or just TV. Wasn't a huge problem though, just inconvenient 2-3 times a day except for the first time it happened and I wasn't aware and left the fridge unplugged all day long. The host was aware of the problem and hopefully did something about it after I left.

The rooms were modern and spacious. With all that was needed for our simple stay and a place to sleep at a very cheap price compared to anyone else in the area and being on the main road it was easy to get back to.

Did get a lot of road noise being right on the roadside and with 2 kids I should've booked a room with 2 rooms (my mistake)

The staff were friendly and happy to help. Plenty of space in the living area. Loved having an air fryer to cook in. Fabulous location, and very quiet.

There were a few issues with ants, but I understand this is a city wide problem (and we're not used to dealing with them). Had to ask for bedding for the 5th bed. Nothing too major.

Handy location, needed to do some shopping at Riccarton Mall. Walking distance to Bush Inn with lots of food options. Friendly staff. Strong shower pressure. Was expecting a bit of noise from the road but was actually pretty quiet and we all slept well! Good wifi too.

The sofa bed would be comfier with a foam topper.

It was really convenient to where we needed to go and they kindly allowed us to park our ute and trailer onsite. Which was excellent! We also were up graded to a much larger room, this was really kind! We would definitely stay again.

The only thing was the bed was quite firm but as the value was exceptional we really can't complain

Staff were friendly and kind enough to upgrade the room for free. The room was exceptional for the value of the money. The location was superb .Easy access to lot of shops .We highly recommend it. Thanks Tintu E Thomas

The mattress was little bit uncomfortable

Great family friendly staff, facilities were very modern clean and comfortable. Central to local shopping centre, buses etc Lots of room to park our hire car, highly recommend as this will definitely be our go to when we visit Christchurch :)

The facilities were uncluttered and clean, spacious, with everything I needed. The location was good fir use of public transport. And easy walk to shopping centre.

The couch was a little too cosy, as once on it, it was hard to get off again.
