The Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre

Location excellent. Beds very comfy. Spotlessly clean

We stayed a second day and after leaving very early that morning, leaving a Please make up room sign, on the door, we returned at 3.30 to find the room had not been serviced. The desk staff were not helpful and we had to complain in order for the room to be serviced.

The room was always serviced before we returned in the early afternoon (this is something that is a little hit and miss at other accommodations). Having a decent restaurant on-site is convenient for those rainy evenings when you don't want to travel too far (although there are many others just a five minute drive away).

Storage space such as a set of drawers would have been nice. In the kitchen there is a small table and only one chair, however this is ample given the space, and there are two comfortable chairs and a coffee table in the main room if the two of you want to sit down for a cuppa together.

The view was amazing looking over the harbour and city. The bed was a good size very comfortable and great pillows. Great size bathroom and good shower. Nice balcony to enjoy and look out to the view. Great location at a reasonable price. Public transport accessible to and from city, as well as an easy walk to the city.

The room next door's air conditioning system was on our balcony, so uncomfortable to sit on our balcony or have the room doors open when they were running the air conditioning in their room.

The staff at the reception is extremely nice and friendly. The room is very big. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equiped and you get various choices of different teas,coffee and hot chocolate. Theres a mini ac. Parking on premises. Amazing shower in any way. Temperature, water pressure etc. For what you pay we were super surprised in a good way.

Even though the room felt clean , after staying more than one night you notice its a bit rounded around the corners. For example its not cleaned beneath the furniture - in the living room there was a single use plastic rack from what previous guest have bought, and under the bed there was a bottle cap, both of which easily noticeable if someone would just bend. And we got a cockroach :(

The hotel was exceptional thanks to its location close to the main city centre and breathtaking views from the balcony. It was just what we needed to celebrate my 50th birthday on New Year's Eve and watch the fireworks off the Sky Tower from our room balcony. The room was not very big or sophisticated, but it was cosy, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had all essentials, the same as the bathroom, and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was tasty. It was amazing to have my birthday breakfast outside in the sunshine. The staff both in the reception and the hotel restaurant were very kind and welcoming. It's worth adding that the hotel is in close proximity to a gorgeous rose garden. Highly recommended 👌

I love the location as it's close enough to get in and out of the city (via car or bus) but has a lovely suburb feel. I love to visit the Rose Garden just down the road, especially in summer when the roses are in full bloom. This time I found the Parnell Baths. Again just down the road, an easy 12minute walk. Was a welcomed refreshing swim in the salt water pool during a muggy hot afternoon. I also enjoy visiting the local Art Gallery's which are an easy walk down the Main Street if I manage to finish work early. I enjoyed 3 meals on site this time, the staff were super accomodating about changing up the dishes. ie: adding a chicken breast to the Caesar salad and grilling the snapper instead of deep frying. All delicious. I like that there is free parking onsite and the rooms have air conditioning. The rooms are clean and are made up every day which was appreciated and felt like great service.

That my room was right outside the lifts and the bathroom window was high and open, meaning there was quite a bit of noise disturbance. I couldn't reach the bathroom to window to close it. The pillows, all four on my bed were tired and need of replacement. Too flat and hard for me, I'll take my own pillow next time as I realise everyone has a personal comfort preference.

Good room with all the amenities we expected. The hotel is located very close to Auckland Domain, a big park with a very nice museum. Auckland city centre is a 30 min walk away, which for us was perfect as we like to do things on foot. Also, it was nice that the hotel is located in a quiet area, away from all the noise and chaos of the big city. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much.

The hotel and room felt a bit more old. Especially the shower was not as comfortable is I had hoped. That does not mean that it is bad, but don't expect modern, new and shiny rooms.

Spacious, clean room with a view of the city, 24-hour concierge, and ample free parking. I like that it has a sofa, balcony with a couple of chairs, and a dining set. The kitchenette has the basic necessities we needed (we didn't cook). The beds are comfortable, the beddings & towels are clean. It's close to the nice little shops & cafes in Parnell village. I particularly liked the Chocolate Boutique cafe. Though not located within the city center, the drive to the center is just about 10 minutes. The airport too is just within 15 minutes.

The hallway leading to the room is not that nice. Some of the parking slots are downhill so the car is parked in a slanting position and makes it hard to get out of the car.

Loved the wonderful greeting at Reception, then again on the TV screen . Our room (116) was beautiful, clean and so inviting. The beds were perfect! No partner disturbance on the amazing medium firm (not soft so no back aches) mattress. We will be investing in one of those beds for sure. Loved that the kitchen was fully equipped with required utensils and a full fridge/freezer. Having an on-site Restaurant/Cafe that serves deliciously "generous" servings by wonderfully, friendly, helpful staff is such a win. We really did enjoy our stay, and bonus points for the awesome views from our unit. Thank you so much wonderful staff of Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre. We highly recommend you to all.
