The hotel is in a great location - the view from our room was super - affording us a view of all the tall mast ships coming and going - very pleasant - big widows - and bright and airy. The large double bed was very comfy and all the linen was crisp and clean - the bathroom was very good - overall - we enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again if ever we go back to Harlingen.
They have a small guest car park - which was full by the time we got there - so we had to pay to park a short walk away. This was not a huge problem though, and would not deter us from staying again.

The terrace was lovely, right next to the water and the Ferry terminal to the islands is directly opposite. The food was delicious in the restaurant. Our room had a view over the harbour and the restaurant terrace, which was lovely. It is a very picturesque area. The staff were friendly. I was surprised by reviews saying the hotel was dated. I found it very cosy and relaxing. A really nice hotel!
The room was just at the top of the stairs which were quite loud, so there was not much soundproofing.

I was extremely Ill with food poisoning and had to get a hotel room quickly to rest. The staff went out of their way to prepare to room early in the morning even though I just arrived. The staff was so nice considering how bad I felt.

The hotel is located near the port to take the ferry to the islands and very close to the shops and city centre of Harlingen. The staff was really nice and diligent when I ordered my dinner. The food was tasty and with enough amount. The bathroom was big enough and with hot water in the shower.
You can hear cars passing by in direction to the port, but it is well soundproof.

Our room had the BEST views. We could watch all the boats come and go from the harbor. We had large windows that brought in so much light.

🙃shower faucet knobs are outside the shower. they worked, that’s all what matters.
