I really like "Kingsize", it is in the city centre so a great location. The building is newly refurbed, but I love the history link with the Dutch peppermints. There are no staff present but the check in to the building and then your room is all done by your mobile phone (it is free and easy) which is super modern and handy and forward thinking. You can use bikes if you want (they are in the communal area) The rooms are bright and clean and comfortable. The rooms have a fridge with bottled water and tea/coffee provided. I have stayed at least 5 times as I visit Sneek regularly. I highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for a 3 days and had a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The only minor issue I had was that my phone didn't activate the automated doors. The receptionist told me that this had never happened in her 6 years of working there, but she was happy to help me find a solution. She went out of her way to buy a phone and sim card for me to use to enter the hotel. I was very grateful for her help, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I liked the combination of location and price.

the room was very clean but smell in the room was VERY strong from the cleaning supplies or whatever used to make it smell nice. The room had to be aired out but still smell was very strong. when room was booked via booking. com there was confusing info on the confirmation email. even though we didn’t book breakfast with our stay, the confirmation email said we had breakfast included in the booking. when we called about it they told us that it was a mistake. A bit of a embarrassing situation.

Spacious and ventilated. All you need is there. The breakfast is outstanding! Phoning the opening code from our mobile did not open the door and the host was immediately available to help us entering from a distance.

Entering with a code from a different country’s phone is challenging and distressing in bad weather, but the solution was available

A very central location, close to some nice canal-side restaurants. The unusual entry system, using one’s mobile phone, worked perfectly. We arrived by bike and the lodgement was very amenable to bikes being brought inside the hallway overnight. Breakfast was ample, though some fresh fruit would have been welcome. But overall a great place to stay

We loved the location, close to CBD, with parking facility close to the accommodation. Loved the coffee in the room with a great shower and very comfortable bed. We recommend this logement highly if you don't mind a staircase.

Stained carpet and wall paper starting to look dated. The entrance facility could be changed to a lock box as international travellers will have difficulty using your cell phone entry.

As an elderly lady I felt quite closed in which gave me a bit of a claustrophobic feeling. For people our age a B&B with a real person sitting at the desk we probably would feel more comfortable. The B&B is otherwise a good place to stay.. One point for attention was the fridge: the freezer appartement was dirty and the 2 bottles of water were 2months over expiring date.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and clean. The area around was full of restaurants and easily walkable.

The spiral staircase made it a bit different to climb two stories with luggage.

Location, it’s clean. Bed is also good.

It was a new concept for us, no idea who are the owners. We did not meet anybody. There is a cel number to be called and then the door opens. It worked very well but impersonal.

Easy to find, central location. Plenty of parking nearby. specious room with all you need for a short stay

Opening the door via calling is fairly easy, however it would've been great to be able to add an extra phone number to enter the hotel separately The room itself is quite noisy, and you can clearly hear other guests entering the hotel
