The location couldn't have been any better. The neighborhood is typical of Delft. It is very quiet and very close to the university. The hotel breakfast was beyond my expectations based on past experiences in other hotels in this city. It was fresh, very rich and delicious every morning. The lobby/lounge area and the patio are great common places to hangout by yourself or with your visitors. The room, sheets and towels were impeccably clean. Everything worked in the room, the shower, the lights, the hairdryer, the clothing iron. You can rent bikes at the hotel for a rate. Umbrellas by the door are for guests to grab on rainy days. And the staff was absolutely nice. They were different every day and all of them were very warm and helpful.

An inconsiderate guest talked for hours on her phone from her room one night and morning, and I could hear it while trying to sleep. The hotel is meticulous with quiet times on the property. This was on the guest, it just made me think that coming with kids may be tricky if the building does not have sound insulation.

Situated about ten minutes’ walk from the town centre in a very quiet residential area, the hotel seems to be two or three houses knocked together into a very informal and quirky little hotel. A central lounge has comfortable sofas and tables and serves as a breakfast room too. Free coffee, tea and biscuits are available all day in the lounge too. Bedrooms are quite small but very simply and neatly furnished, painted white and with white bedding, everything spotlessly clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Soundproofing between bedrooms isn’t great, though thankfully my fellow guests were mostly very quiet. I’d have appreciated if decaf coffee was available in the lounge alongside the otherwise very good selection of coffees and teas.

Casa Julia is now my husband's and my favorite place to stay when we are in Delft. It is very comfortable even for a long stay. Very friendly and attentive staff, a nice and varied breakfast, free coffee all day long... Such a cosy and simple interior! There is a pleasant scent in the whole building and a cute electric fireplace in the common relax area. Convenient location, within walking distance from the train station and the center, situated in a quiet residential area, with a small backyard. Everything is clean, good room service. I would recommend paying a bit extra for the larger rooms, it is well worth it - well equipped, large windows, more light. The beds are too soft for my liking, but that is a matter of preference. Good value for money, we will keep coming back. Thank you, Julia team!

The room was really nice, bright, light and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice too. The communal areas were modern, clean & comfortable. The staff were friendly & efficient.

The room was very small, and although we managed by storing luggage under the desk, it was difficult to get in and out of one side of the bed. OK for 2 nights, but if we were staying longer, I'd opt for a bigger room - the extra cost would probably be worth it.

The staff were extremely helpful - we arrived early and they made us comfortable in the hotel lounge with tea, coffee and biscuits while we waited for our room, they managed to solve our transport problems for the next day and generally made us feel at home. The facilities were excellent - in addition to the lounge there is a small courtyard garden where we could sit and enjoy the springtime! The room was very comfortable with nothing lacking. The position is very quiet, yet only a ten minute walk to the center and the Royal Delft museum is around the corner.

The rooms and bathrooms are quite small.

Very cosy place to spend the night in this beautiful city. The receptionists were both very kind, smiley and helpful, showing us the facilities and giving us tips and ideas for our staying in the area. Very nice atmosphere, the common area was perfect for taking a hot beverage right next to the fireplace, amazing decoration! The room was exactly like the pictures, clean and bright. We will definitely prefer this place when we revisit again! Thanks a lot :))

It would be very convenient if there was a space for parking, but in any case the receptionists guided us about which were our alternative options.

Friendly staff, great for a single traveller, quiet away from the bustle. Short walk to Delft centre and the railway station. Nice breakfast choices and great eating environment, enabled you to be sociable.

Possibly a wardrobe in the room. Fine for me as I was only there for two nights. Room would have been too small for two people. However, great for a single traveller when doubles are frequently priced too high.

The breakfast room was lovely. They even have an out-door breakfast option in the garden. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. I so enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Delft! The staff at the hotel was most helpful with any question I had, Delft itself is a dream of a town and the train connections are plenty for day trips to Den Haag, etc. The hotel attracts a very nice and curious clientele. Some guests bike to Den Hague from there.

The space was a little tight, but o.k. for me. I booked a room for two, even though I travel alone. If you need more space around you, book the next, more spacious category.

This hotel is great for cycling and needing to commute between Delft old town and the university. It may be far from the station on foot. The hotel garden was pleasantly surprised and the coffee area was as cosy as expected. Soundproofing of old buildings, need to be quiet at night.

I feel that the staff are not familiar enough with the hotel, and the reception level can be improved. There is no staff in the hotel after 11 pm, if necessary, you can talk to the service center remotely for support. The staff will turn off the lights in the coffee area before leaving. People who like to drink and chat in the hotel lobby cafe at night may be a little uncomfortable.

Walking distance to town. Free parking possible and not too far. Clean, our room on first floor was tiny but they have a garden where you can hangout. I would stay again.

I made a mistake on not requesting near rooms as we were traveling with our kids. I didn’t have to request in other hotels, other facilities seems to right away stayed us near since we were with kids. We were on first floor and kids on 3rd floor. They couldn’t moved us because of no room availability. No AC on the first floor but AC present in the 2nd and up. It was too hot even with 2 fans. Request for rooms not on the first floor!
