The shower itself was the best shower ever, amazing and high quality. I loved the unusual interior The location was very central Very clean and modern Good WiFi The blond lady at reception during checking was really nice

The same room key for front door and room means that you can enter any apartment, this was very unsettling as solo female traveler. Especially since there were some loud kids next door and they wiggled with the door knob. Also I could hear this family quiet a bit during my stay, they were really loud. Some sound proofing would help. It’s not in the castle which was bit misleading. I did not like the open shower concept in the room. I wished to checkout early as I had to catch train at 7am, but the “reception” opened only at 7am. I went there earlier anyway and the lady was bit impolite about me coming before 7am. I suggest to implement some key drop off box instead.

The breakfast was very good and the location is very good

I booked 2 double rooms and they send me confirmation for one double room which I confirmed and then I got also confirmation for the 2 double rooms. It ended with I had to pay for 3 double rooms and 4 breakfast. I complained but they didn’t want to do nothing. I also send an email to Booking and they don’t answer. So I am stopping to use Booking after constant using it for more than traveling a lot for 8 years.

The beautiful property is nicely decorated and furnished and everything was very clean. The rooms we stayed in were in a separate building – a converted grain warehouse. It is centrally located in Coevorden.

it was slightly inconvenient that the rooms were in a separate building about 100 m from the reception. however, that was clearly stated in the description (so not a surprise)

Very friendly staff and great service, beautiful restaurant in the castle. The room was in another building, modern, pretty spacious, comfortable, there was a a bath and a separate shower. Overall, an interesting experience.

I got a bit disappointed that the room is not in the castle and doesn't look like the photos, and the point of the trip was some caste ambiance that we unfortunately didn't get. Next time I'll pay more attention to the description and the reviews.

The room was spacious and full of character and old architectural details. Even though the room was in a separate building and not in the Castle it was still a nice room.

As so often in hotel rooms, there was no designated spot for hanging towels, no towel rail or hooks. The other 'minus' point was the breakfast. It was a set meal with very little choice. I prefer a breakfast buffet with choices of cereal, hot & cold dishes etc.

room and building is was very hot -it’s confusing if you are looking for a castle - the reception and rooms are across the street

Don't expect an old interior since it's a castle, everything is modern, nice and clean. We had a really nice bathroom as well, tea and coffee were available in the room. Quiet location but almost in the city centre. A bike storage available as well which is great. We had our rooms one next to each other as requested.

Location great. Comfortable.

Kettle needed to go on floor to plug in. Shower leaked water ove floor. Communications were contradictory on opening times of reception.

Unique, historic property with modern rooms. Great breakfast.

Small maintenance issues: lights above bed not working, some stains on window blinds.
