Hotel Porto In

This is where you want to stay while visiting Kotor. It's outside the old city gates so none of the problems associated with that (think parking, luggage noise, etc) but only five minutes walk. It's very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a nice breakfast selection. There is a food market close by.

Everything was great!

Excellent location close to bus station (3 mins walk) and gate to Kotor old town (3mins walk). Arrived late, in the dark and it was pouring with rain so location was just what I needed. The hotel receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful with tourist info for local area and Montenegro as a whole. Breakfast was really good. It was lovely to have food freshly prepared rather than eating from a buffet. The menu had pictures and was also in English. The bed was very comfortable and I had good views of old town from my window/balcony.

The staff were incredibly helpful getting me in touch with the local library for a blog visit. We were lucky enough to grab one of the two parking spaces at the hotel instead of having to drop bags and walk to car 200 meters away. Great view from balcony. Very close to old town.

Nice hotel but don't tell me I can't bring food into my room. Also very disappointed that air conditioning wasn't on May 19 and doesn't get turned on until mid June. it may be okay if you're on the street side where you'd get a sea breeze, but it was way too hot, even with provided fan, on the quiet back side. The room was a bit cramped too as we had two large suitcases.

The hotel is in a quiet location, extremely close to the port. The room was exceptionally comfortable with many perks like a fully stocked mini fridge, fast WiFi, huge balcony, robes, slippers and luxury body wash. The breakfast was delicious and offered us a huge selection. The staff were amazing! We will be forever grateful for their kindness to us and going above and beyond to get us to the airport in plenty of Time for our flight! I hope to make it back to stay in Porto In very soon!

Only 5 mins walk from the old town

parking was odd. It is either outside on the road, which was general free parking in the town or in a paid car park 200 meters along the road. As this wasn’t made clear and all the street parking was taken, we had to ditch the car about half a kilometre away and walk to the hotel to then enquire about car parking. no big deal but a little inconvenient.

Location is very good, easy walk around either side of the Bay and into town just minutes walk away - take the steep walk up to the church and Fort - excellent views from the top. Helpful, Kind Staff, Large room, comfy bed, Good large walk in shower. Nice Balcony to have a beer/wine. Take a speedboat ride out to the Blue Cave - great way to see the area.

The Breakfast was minimal - nice but not enough choice - no pastries ! Should be a buffet type. Very helpful waiter though. Carpet in our room could do with a clean. The WiFi was dropping out and had to have tv on to connect ? These minor faults should not put you off this nice hotel.

Everything!! The receptionist was friendly and helpfull. The ambiance of the hall made me feel calm,welcoming and was playing a subtle calming music in the background. Rooms were exeptionaly clean,modern and very comfortable,we had been sleeping in several hotels during our road trip and we had a fantastic stay in all of them ,Hotel Porto In did not disappointed us either. We definitely reccomend for anyone that want to visit Kotor,Montenegro,to stay at Hotel Porto In!

Only the parking was a bit far from the hotel but still was secure.

Nice and clean room with a furnished balcony, walking distance to the old town. Very helpful staff who responded quicky to any inquiries. Parking was at the nearby parking area, worked very well. Some options for the breakfast, no complaints!

No sea view but still nice views to the mountains/old town. The street below the balcony is quite busy and noisy.

We arrived late at night, but Ivana helped us to book a parking lot nearby and also a table in a restaurant, which was very good after the long journey. The ladies in the reception was always very kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, closed to the old town. I would like to highlight that they ensure Rituals shower gel and liquid soap which was a very pleasant surprise. Cleanliness is impeccable.

Unfortunately the breakfast is not suitable for a four star hotel. There is only one type of bread (sliced toast) which is unsatisfactory. There is no information on what the guest can ask from the staff (scrambled eggs, omelette was served separately). The poor supply of fresh fruits and vegetables in a southern country is utterly surprising. All in all, strong economy in the breakfast service.

Good location, few minutes walk from the old town. Spacious private parking, located less than 200 meters from the hotel. Helpful and kind reception staff. The room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast. With few people at the restaurant, they forgot out order twice, waiting time is quite long, plus the quality could be improved.
