- Kristina is amazing! So friendly and welcoming, thorough explanation of what to do and how to get around. When I came back the second time she was just as welcoming and remembered everything about my trip. She printed bus tickets out for me after changing my whole route. - Laundry service is cheap and able to dry outside. - Nice welcoming pack with sheet and towel and key for locker. - Location is great: close to bus station, supermarket and old town.
- The less said about the two other female members of staff, the better, as otherwise I’d have to change my review rating. What I will say is that they were visibly rude to other travellers, would get agitated when travellers couldn’t understand what they were saying due to language barrier and nearly caused me to miss my flight. They led me to believe a taxi was on its way, was told 10 mins later taxis were unavailable and only suggestion was to get a bus at the time I had said my flight was leaving. No attempts to help me whatsoever and didn’t seem to care at the possibility. Stressful end to what was an amazing holiday! However, dismissing these two - the hostel was amazing and did not deter me from giving a mainly positive review.

Excellent service, no discrimination against elderly people like in Old Town Hostel where I've to cancel my booking because out of age. Open for all, age, race, religion, skin colour, gender, ...highly recommend
Everything was ok, nothing to complain

The hostel is very well located - by the sea & outside the wall. I think it is more convenient to stay outside the wall as it enables me to be dropped off and catch a transport to the airport right outside the hostel. The hostel itself is clean, my bed was comfortable, and I was provided with a map with lots of useful information from the staff. I want to thank Cevo for having assisted me to find a taxi on my way to the airport - he went above and beyond to call various taxi companies and make sure that I was transported safe and prevented me from being overcharged. I'm so grateful for his kindness!

The location is in between the old town and the bus station. I booked Papua knowing I wouldn't be in the old town, and that was fine. I didn't want a long walk with my luggage, so I preferred this. It was also away from the crazy amount of tourists coming off the cruise ships, and that was also nice. The bathrooms were clean, and the owner was very upbeat and nice and gave a ton of suggestions. The beds are soft and a little bouncy.
There wasn't anything wrong with the hostel; if you're a backpacker, you'll get what you need out of it. As a digital nomad though, I would just suggest the upstairs common area be a little more comfortable. It's very minor, but upstairs, the long line of tables should have a break in between; every time someone wanted to sit down, the other person would have to move to let them in. Every time I would space the tables out, the cleaning lady would push them back together. The chairs on the outside are kind of uncomfortable as well.

Friendly and helpful staff, they gave very good advice about activities in Kotor and around. Flexible with check-in hours. Great location: 5 minutes walking from main bus station and 5 from the first gate to Old town of 10 from main entrance to old town. 5 minutes from supermarket. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and functional: there's a kitchen to cook, WC/showers fresh, clean and big enough. The rooms are not that big but there is enough space, there's AC in the rooms. The curtains create more privacy if you need it. Very nice hostel, calm and a great possibility to meet new people, to talk and enjoy time together. It's not a party hostel. Anyway I had an amazing time there and even stayed two days longer.
Nothing, I liked everything and didn't mention any problems

Overall they deserve their very high ratings. They better hide Christine: the front desk receptionist, online support person, chief complaint officer (CCO), big ears and heart to all, professional worker. I bet the new Marriott will try and poach her for a guest relations liaison position, she’s that good. Great value for the area.
NO removable washable covers on the blankets. You are essentially sharing a blanket with LOTS of previous strangers. Maybe we should have the owner curl up and sleep with lots of strangers…blankets. YUCK I’m not sure why Booking.com obsesses and rates about minor things and doesn’t rate and promote the best sanitary practice of NOT sharing blankets.

I think it has the best location in Kotor. You will be at old town with only 5 min walking. Why its better than the other hostel in the old town? Because its placed in the seafront. It has a great view and there are free parking spots and you have a %90 chance to see them empty. If all spots are full, they let you to put your car to the back side of the hostel. Hostel is %100 clean. Everyday cleaning lady doing her job perfectly. Cevo in the reception is the best guy Ive ever seen in a hostel. He told me everything about the Kotor when I checked in and gave me a trustable impression with his all kindness. At first I thought that he is the owner of the hostel, because he was really hard working. Other two ladies in the reception (sorry I forgot the names) were also very helpful and nice. Im seriously thinking about to come back again in Summer.
I was gonna mention about some cons but I had discussed them with Cevo. So I dont think its a necessary to write here. Cevo might have taken an action already.

The location was excellent, the rooms cosy, and the facilities all very good.
Staff at front desk need to work on welcoming guests. Many of us arrive after travelling a long bus journey and for lots, the front desk is the first person we speak to in Montenegro. I advise staff to keep this in mind; despite the busy season. Many guests are made to feel like an imposition when checking in. Yes you're busy but find meaning in your job by putting guests at ease and feeling like they've arrived somewhere that they can happily stay. I also think saying there are 'no good swim spots' in Kotor is inaccurate and deflating. Maybe compared to some other places in Montenegro but I personally found a gorgeous patch to chill out for the day and enjoy the sunshine and sea just past the aquarium. Kotor beach is busy but absolutely fine once you expect that.

Great location right in marina. 10 min walk to old town area was great location also 5 mins walk to bus station. I booked this as it was closest to bus station and so much closer than a lot of other hostels around the town. Really clean hostel.
This is not just this hostel but kotor in general hostel prices are extremely high in summer. €51 euro for 1 night is the highest I’ve ever had to pay. I think this is due to it being a cruise ship port town which explains the higher prices in general than other towns in the country. I would have liked to stayed a few days but the price was so high I only stayed 1 night.
