Quinta Santa Anita

I enjoyed the staff, they were so helpful and nice. I also liked the location, it was 4 blocks from 15th street, so easy access to everything, even a grocery store across the street. Best of all, as i've learned from staying closer to 15 th street it was a very quiet neighborhood, hard to find those two things together.

As with every hotel here, there are no channels with English or even subtitles in English. I had my tv on for 5 mins before i gave up. I still have all my online apps, Netflix, Amazon, Prime video. So that's a very minor issue. The only thing i wish the rooms had in them were a reading light by the bed, that would help a lot.

Most Staff was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. From the clerk at the reception to the cleaning lady I felt much more than a walking Dollar$ Here you are at walkable distance to anything, just around the corner from the hotel there a two Mega stores that sell everything, the ADO bus station, the avenida 30 where all the collectivos/minivans pass, really nice restaurant (like the famous El Fogón)

I was at the 3d floor and they were doing building the 4th floor, they started hammering at 8am. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and I think it's the reason the next day they started a bit later.

Overall, it was a good stay and based on the construction happening, I think it will be an excellent hotel in the very near future. Nice overall style, good location (close, but not too close to all the 'action'). WiFi was solid (in room) and was able to have a one hour web meeting with 5 people and no issues. Recommendation: eat at the vegetarian place across the street (even if you are a carnivore) - it's amazing.

As noted, the construction will really make this hotel great, but I had to deal with it so I guess that's the price of making improvements. Can't always win!

Everything from the location to the staff and the housekeeping services. They excelled in every thing. The front desk staff was always super helpful with anything you ask and request. We had won a wine in a previous contest (not related to the hotel) but we didn’t have a wine opener and the front desk staff was so helpful in providing us one. They are not located on the main road so it’s not noisy except the other guests were a bit noisy in the morning (typical latin behaviour) but nothing to complain about. We were just 1 min walk away from city centre and 10 mins walk from 5Th Avenue (Downtown). Amazing guys. Would recommend staying here.

The rooms are a little cramped and damp because of the humid weather but running the air conditioner solves the problem.

The staff is very friendly and helpful (we arrived late and they wanted for us) and the Location is excellent. Laundry bar is just around the corner and Ceiba bar for breakfast is 280 metars away and it’s an excellent option. Pharmacy and several supermarkets are close by and so is the beach and the pedesetima drag.

the triler flush was a little bit tricky and since we were arriving late we would have appreciated to have been able to organize the transfer with the property director

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and 5th Avenue, really close to ADO bus station and the big grocery store. The wifi was working great. All the staff really kind and helpfull.

It could be more clean, the fridge wasnt warking, there were some mold in the bathroom and in the room.

For the money paid (USD 25 per night) - no real complaints. Room and hotel actually look better than on photos. Fresh and clean. Wifi works mostly good. The area is quiet at night - you can sleep well. The room has fridge to store food. Big supermarkets are 5 min by foot. 5th avenue is 10-15 min by foot, beach (not the best) - 5 min more. For the better beaches consider renting a bike or taking taxi/colectivo.

Chemical smell in the room is the only complaint. There was some construction in the hotel building.

Hotel is away from noisy 5th & 10th avenue, surrounded with money exchange, big supermarket, laundry, pharmacy, quesadillas place and tacos carts at night in 5 minutes walking range. Service is really nice and helpful and open to chat with you. Everything was according to description and working, including fast WiFi in my room and in the hotel patio. It will be definitely the strongest contender for my next stay in Playa del Carmen.

Pleasant staff, close to the Mega supermaket. Also close to the ADO alterna bus station if travelling onwards by bus

The ground floor room next to the Reception was often noisy with early check outs and loud Mexican families at 6am. When making the booking, request an upper floor. A bedside lamp for reading would be nice

Very comfortable and clean rooms. They get cleaned everyday. It is in a central location yet very quiet. The wifi most of the time worked well but there were times it was down.

We wanted to stay longer but they blocked the rooms in booking and increased the price for the additional nights. Luckily for us we found another place cheaper and better 😉
