Lotus Beach Hotel - Adults Only

The location is amazing !! The upstairs suite was great, also with an incredible view. Best beach on the island and the hotel is right there. All the staff are incredible, helpful in every way, especially Alexander, who takes a great deal of pride in telling you about all the things the island has to offer. The breakfast and all the other meals and drinks were great and very reasonably priced. We stayed on the beach and in the beautiful pristine ocean water everyday. Perfect vacation.

This is not something we didn't like. We knew about these things before and therefore embraced them, but it's something guests should know beforehand. 1) The beach is public and therefore can get quite busy at times. We actually enjoyed this aspect as it added life and local flavor to the beach. 2) The hotel is attached to Guru Beach Club which plays music all day and gets quite lively in the afternoons with either a DJ or live bands. They usually stop around 7pm at the latest so it doesn't go on all night. Like I said, we embraced this and were able to get a beach bed far away from the music when we chose to do so.

The staff were wonderful! They went out of their way to make any and all accommodations. The front desk staff helped book our whale shark snorkel excursion, scuba diving session, and gave outstanding recommendations for restaurants and activities around the island. They also arranged for our taxi from the ferry dock to the airport. The resort location is located in the best spot on the whole island. It is right on the north beach and has amazing snorkeling right off the beach. It was a small adults only boutique hotel which was exactly what we were looking for.

The bed was very firm, but not uncomfortable.

The stag went above and beyond during my stay. Friendly and knowledgeable of the island was extremely helpful

I wish I could have stayed longer

I had a bad experience during my travel to arrive at the hotel, but from the moment I entered the hotel all stress disappeared. Alexander, Juan and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and pampered. The rooms are beautiful and clean, location on the beach is perfect, swimming pool is very clean, food and drinks are amazing and the tips I received for trips around the island were all perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely go back!

Nothing, it was a perfect stay

The staff were absolutely amazing. Super helpful and extremely friendly - the best! The food was also delicious and good value for money! try the Guru cocktail and the tacos shrimp gobernador! Music was also great - only during the day as at night the Guru club is closed.

The view was obstructed by the MIA hotel which is quite ugly. Also Playa Norte is very crowded. Regarding our room the bathroom was small (even thought I really liked the shower) and the pool we had for our bedroom was facing the not so fancy view + the crowded beach - not very private, so we did not use it at all.

Location on a beautiful beach, away from the daytime crowds from Cancun. Excellent service. Good food, except for the chips (not crisp). Great drinks. Two live music days during our week.

Bathroom in ocean view room was small. Apparently, the partial ocean view rooms have larger bathrooms. Plunge pool in ocean view rooms is really a non functioning spa. Apparently, partial ocean view rooms have spas. The room was otherwise comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed. Booking.com screwed up our taxi arrangements. They are impossible to reach. I will not use them again.

Location is amazing, right ın the best part of the beach. The rooms are spacious and confortable. Staff are nice!

İncluded breakfast is a big plate of fruits and yougurt, granola and simple white bread from supermarket with jam and butter plus coffee. One day my husband asked if he could have eggs instead of fruits and was served an omelette from their menu and got charged $12. When you pay $300 a night and the hotel has a restaurant with staff on duty it just seem a bad business choice dont have more breakfast options. We ate fruits ın the first days but couldnt have more of it so just skipped breakfast or went to eat ın other places.

well first Alex was amazing and his staff were very accommodating. The room was very open and spacious and we came in to a bed full of rose petals. Truly the went above and beyond. He set up a beautiful sunset dinner for us at a local restaurant.

Our fault but we didn’t realize the restaurant (Guru) wasn’t open much after dark which caused us to go into town when we didn’t want to.

such a beautiful property, the pool and the beach and the location were perfect

as a guest of the hotel we were not able to reserve a sun bed a couple of the days, as they were full from people coming for the day. that was a bummer.
