Hotel Santa Maria del Cabo

I missed my second flight because the first one was late, so I arrived here the next day, and the hotel gave me a free night, so I didn't lose money. I think the hotel staff are very honest and friendly! And the rooms are very large, the beds are comfortable and the prices are very reasonable! I recommend it here!

It's a little cold at night in this season (March), I wake up in the night.

Nice location off the beach but close. Everything you need within a 5min walk. Rooms and pool area was good. The little breakfast restaurant was pretty good, it was included otherwise we would have tried different places. Big supermarket across the street with everything like a Walmart.

Can be noisy with incoming planes nearby and traffic out front at times was loud. Kitchenettes need to be better stocked with supplies already in your room when you arrive, not chasing down staff for it days later. Pool could have been warmer but sufficed when needing to cool off. Two different sports teams booked in for wknd and it was really loud when they were there running around, screaming and slamming doors, would suggest in future better to isolate them to certain buildings.

Friendly staff Nice atmosphere, quiet, good location

In my room, I would prefer the water bottles being placed in the fridge not in the bathroom. Who wants to drink warm water? The breakfast was included with my stay but only one item from the menu and one drink. For example: If I wanted coffee and orange juice I had to pay extra for the juice. Same goes for food items. Upon arrival I had items missing in my room: coffee maker, coffee cups, safe key, blow drier, water bottles) Had to ask for everything - but it was given to me the same day or by next day the latest. I wish they provided more towels in the room + the pool towels. I was lucky I brought my own beach towels so I used those by the pool. Towels in the room were also very old, rough and even torn or had holes. The hotel should invest in this.

Location is the best part! walking distance to great restaurants and bars and down town. Room is nice and the beds super comfy and across the street you have two supermarkets, two golf courses, big parking lot and is very quiet and safe area. Breakfast was included in our package and the food was delicious. Everybody is very friendly and happy to help you with any request or questions. Thank you to Emilio and Abigail from the front desk and Paola at the restaurant who make our stay better!

Internet was a little slow sometimes (at least in our room) so if you are for vacation is fine but if you traveling for work be aware of this.

Very good value in a pricey part of CABO. The rooms were large and the wifi was strong. Most of the rooms have 2 beds. WE utilized the supermarket across the street.

The TV had only You Tube available. Sometimes, there was a wait at the busy breakfast room.

Hotel Santa Maria was an excellent value for money stay, with clean, well kept facilities, and attentive, friendly staff. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and clean. It featured a balcony, with peek a boo views of the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast every morning, before setting out exploring San Jose del Cabo.

No significant issues during our stay. The bathroom requires some updating, with the shower not initially working, and the toilet seat not being fit for purpose. The shower issue was addressed promptly and completely with a call to the front desk.

It is a very accommodating property, well-staffed and cared for. The location is convenient for grocery shopping and transportation. The pool area is attractive and pleasant for relaxation. The cook does a great job on the breakfasts! I received very good assistance from the young man working at the front desk, who helped us in booking our Covid tests.

As stated in previous posts, the linens need replacement. The room decor was Spartan.

Breakfast was exceptional. Excellent flavours, large portions, courteous staff. Location to grocery stores excellent and other services.

Stayed here for two nights on the way to somewhere else - it's got more motel vibes than hotel vibes, and if you want to go anywhere you definitely need a car. The road along side the hotel is really loud but generally this is a really nice hotel. The pool is lovely.
