Very clean. Very quiet. The location is pretty good -- a few minutes walk to the main promenade area, about 15 min walk to the sea. A quiet street (no discos, restaurants, bars right next door, etc.), which makes the stay comfortable. But all the entertainment is just 5-10 min walk away. The hotel is built in the Mexican courtyard style -- you enter the small complex through the gate (closes at night), and there is a courtyard for parking. Walk into your apartment from there. We appreciated the washing machine in the small private patio on the back. Most things inside are new or nearly new. Pristine, comfortable, large beds. No squeaking! The kitchen is basically new and in perfect order. No scratches on pots, excellent dinnerware, glassware, utensils -- you name it. Plentiful soaps, shampoo, towels -- good bathroom supplies at the high-quality hotel level. Very nice, helpful staff. Very comfortable stay all over. We will be back!
The internet wasn't great. It was going on and off. We could use it, but not consistently. Also, the thing we did not care about, but others might -- there are no views. Say, the little private patio on the back was mostly there for drying clothes -- you couldn't really sit there with your morning coffee and chill, since it was very small and completely surrounded by walls (and no garden furniture there). Windows face a small courtyard that has only parking lot on it. We knew it and did not care, but perhaps others would care, just noting this.

Our suite was more like a small apartment than a hotel room. The kitchen had a 4 burner gas stove and a microwave, complete with pots and pans, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, a good fridge with freezer and dishes including wine glasses. Filtered water was provided, so there was no need to buy it. They even recycle! The place was immaculate and the owners couldn't have been any more kind and helpful. The large, beautifully furnished rooftop terrace provided a relaxing place for a suntan, a nap, or a sunset view with a glass of wine. The location was perfect! Very secure and safe on a quiet street within very easy walking distance to the historic district and seashore. The best restaurant in Loreto by far is Mi Loreto near the Mission. . . excellent fish!
We could have used a cutting board, but it was not a problem at all.

Our experience at this hotel was fantastic, and it's really all about the host/manager. She was so so accommodating. We had a big surfboard with us, she was able to store it. We needed a taxi, she helped call one for us. We needed laundry done, she and her staff took care of it at a very reasonable price. This was probably the most helpful hotel support we've ever had. Also a very quick, easy walk right to the Plaza in Loreto and we walked to all our shops, restaurants, and the beach. The room was also exactly what we wanted - a clean, small hotel room with a small kitchen for cooking. Is this the best resort in town? No, but that's not what you're paying for. You can't go wrong picking Bugambilias Suites!
Nothing really all our expectations were met. I guess we could hear loud cars go by through the window? But we didn't care because everything else was so great

The front desk attendant was a lovely and enthusiastic woman. We were given a tour of the hotel grounds and shown our room. It was a nice start to our stay. Our room had a well-equipped kitchen, with coffee available, and plenty of seating. There is a gorgeous rooftop patio that was so relaxing, with both a covered area and a sunny area. A perfect spot to relax with a coffee and a good book.
I love to walk, so my husband and I enjoyed the stroll to the boardwalk, pier, and restaurants. There are taxis/Uber available if one would prefer to skip the walk. I can find nothing else that would be negative.

Clean and modern looking room with good kitchen facility. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Loreto - everything is within walking distance of 5-15 minutes (or less). There were bicycles available for us to use whenever we wanted. We felt very secure at Bugambilias - the gate for both cars and people are locked in the evening (with guests having their own entry keys) and there is a safe in the room. One of the best things of all though was the rooftop terrace - very large area with comfortable chairs, tables and chaise loungers, and a several shades for when it is hot and you need to get out of the sun. All appointed beautifully with very nice large potted flowering plants. It's like a penthouse terrace which we mostly had to ourselves - an amazing space to spend down time back at the hotel. And another of the best things was the Hostess/Manager Haydee - a lovely helpful woman who did her best to answer any questions or provide any assistance to us. She (along with the equally lovely and helpful Lupita) are the essence of what excellent hotel hosts can be. Unreservedly highly recommended!

I traveled solo to Loreto during low season and didn't realize how hard it would be to find establishments open that would offer activities to just me. Haydee, the manager, was incredibly helpful in providing me recommendations for what to do and see, and even provided helpful information and recommendations before my visit via email when I inquired about scuba diving and other activities. She definitely went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, at home, and ensure I enjoyed my time in Loreto. One very warm evening, when I was the only guest there and was enjoying the sunset on the rooftop terrace, she brought me ice cream -- her kindness and generosity was very touching. I also felt super safe and comfortable at Bugambilias, and loved that I had a kitchenette for preparing some meals at home. I can't recommend Bugambilias highly enough for other solo (and non-solo) travelers, and hope to stay there when I return another time.

Bugambilias Suites was exceptionally clean and a secure Hacienda style courtyard. This is a gated courtyard after 8:00 pm and has a wonderfully peaceful roof terrace. This place is very well managed. Top quality finishings inside and out. Wifi was outstanding. Many restaurants very close by within easy walking distance. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

The apartment was immaculately cleaned every day. I would not have hesitated to eat off the floor. The place was spacious and had everything we needed in perfect working order. The rooftop patio was a great bonus! Hayde, the manager, was so friendly and helpful. We highly enjoyed our stay and would definitrly go back. The location was great too. Just a few blocks to the central square and close to many great eateries, grocery store, and paleteria. Secure parking was a nice feature.

Rooms were very well appointed with coffee, water and breakfast buns. Obvious attention to guest comfort and details. Very clean. Beautiful sunset views and comfortable furniture on the top veranda. We had stayed 2 nights on moto trip to Cabo and decided to stay 1 night on the way back. Hayde even saved and returned a bottle of booze we had left previously. What? Close to town, mission, restaurants, and beach.
No pool or hot tub, but not really expected in most of Baja.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. When we took out the bikes, the staff was careful to double check and added tire pressure before we go. Haydee, the manager, was particularly helpful with helping us coordinate with our boat tour and restaurant. The property has a very nice terrace on the rooftop for relaxing. There was a decent supply of coffee, kitchen towels and kitchenware for cooking our own meals. Although there's only washer and no dryer, our ground floor unit has a good backyard with clothesline for drying clothes which works out perfectly. The master bedroom was very good size with TV set up and good size bathroom; however the second bedroom was very small with few space for luggage, no TV and next to a much smaller bathroom. Since we are 2 couples traveling it's much more uncomfortable for whichever couple with the second bedroom. I would highly recommend this for a family with 2 children, rather than 4 adults.
Aside from the initial night of loud music from the neighbor up till 2am (it stopped when the staff called the police), the only complaint we can think of is the internet is not consistent and only receivable at certain spots inside the unit. As nice of a stay as we had, this stay in Loreto was the most expensive amongst our comparable stay in Cabos San Lucas or La Paz.
