Verdura Resort

Our stay at Verdura was absolutely blissful. We were extremely disappointed to leave. Everything was pretty wonderful; from the staff who all smiled with their eyes and seemed to genuinely care about our stay, to the brilliant facilities (The pool! The spa!). We ate at all of the restaurants and enjoyed every meal. I was particularly fond of Amare and being able to pick your own fish, then watch it go on the grill. My partner loved his swordfish at Zagara. Special mention to the spa ladies who couldn’t have been any more welcoming or helpful. Really lovely. Plus they consistently remembered our names- nice touch! Overall we’re counting down the days to return. Five stars, 110%, 10/10!

This isn’t a complaint but a lovely extra touch would be for a cool cloth on arrival given the heat & need to travel to the hotel.

Amazing landscape, excellent food, friendly staff.

Staff was professional and friendly but often disorganized … check in was slightly delayed, the luggage arrived more than 30 minutes later and we were given the wrong key (took a full day to find a solution). House keeping skipped our room twice and had to call the reception to receive the service (not nice when you want to take a nap after a day at the beach). In a couple of restaurants they were so busy that they forgot to bring the wine or even the napkin. Overall nothing major but since it’s a 5 star resort, these are points to improve worth mentioning

big pool, not many people around, great service most of the time, excellent golf and tennis facilities; two fabulous golf courses; spa was excellent and relaxing with a warm indoor pool for lengths and three jacuzzis

restaurants hugely overpriced, overall 50% more expensive than best Club Med locations (eg Cefalu) and certainly not 50% better, food average except for breakfast which was excellent and great service, beach is disappointing and no sand on shore only rocks. this should be made clear in presentation and recommend to bring beach shoes; tennis courts a long wxay from accommodation, extra cost of all facilities like tennis, no club events (like friendly football, tennis or ping pong tournaments, shows, etc.); no ping pong table near pool/beach; overpriced excursions (resort quoted 300€ for a taxi to and from Agragento whereas direct taxi quoted €200....).

The location is breathtaking, despite being very windy. Bikes and golf carts available to drive around (comes at a price) Nice to have 3 restaurants with different menus, better choose the mealplans to benefit from discounts Great breakfast buffet Nice spa, with in and outdoor pool. Beautiful hammam On a rainy and windy day, we took a dance class and the teacher was great, made it fun and enjoyable

Food prices overrated Cleaning service in the room: organized early afternoon instead of morning when customers would be at breakfast, not practical Too windy to stay by/in the cold outdoor pool in April

facilities were outstanding. breakfast service (although many guests) was quick and all products constantly available. Having free bikes to ride around the resort was great. Staff were all friendly and would always help. Golf driving range was excellent. The pool bar service was excellent too. It was quick service and regular visits from the staff to the sun loungers

food was hyper expensive, even for lunch. Bar was too quiet in the evenings.

The only con here was the beds in our room. While the room, bathroom, terrace was nice the beds felt like a dorm room set up. Split apart easily, no way to keep them together. We had a child fall through the middle more than once. Pillows were so hard too. Compared to the rest of the room and overall feel of the resort they were a disappointment.

Beautiful property, well manicured. Staff all ready to help with a smile. We really loved being able to hop on a bike to get around. The food was excellent which is hard to find in bigger resorts. Great quality. The kids club clean and staff was warm. So many activities for all ages. The beach was easily accessible with comfortable chairs, pools nice, and the spa treatments were great. Overall we loved it and would like to come back next year!

The whole place is absolutely beautiful. The gardens and surrounding areas are very well maintained. The food in the restaurants is excellent quality although it is a bit expensive.

It is a nice resort in a wonderful location. It probably works for golfers. It is super expensive for the quality of accommodation and the overall feel. Grounds are well maintained, staff are well trained and polite but facilities need better maintenance not so polished for the price you pay).

Bed covers should be nicer and put properly

pool was amazing big. Location very nice! Staff very, very nice people. Excellent food and services. To offer the own harvested vegetables an fruits its a very excellent idea and delicous

would be nic to have more shops. the hotel is located very far from anywheres shops would be nice for women ;-)

Nice resort especially for golfers. Feels crowded after several amazing boutique hotels we stayed at before this one. Nature is amazing, beach is quite nice, staff is the best on the island. It is very expensive and makes sense only if you play golf.
