We stayed at Borgo Giallonardo after visiting the Valley of the Temples, about 30 minutes away. Driving to Borgo Giallonardo and leaving the main road, you begin to focus on the ‘country-side,’ leaving the villages behind. Driving through the estate gate, you’ll see the hotel perched on a slight rise, facing low hills and the ocean a short distance away. After a warm greeting at check-in, but before heading for our room, we were offered a beverage and nosh and invited to rest in the mood-lit lobby overlooking the front lawn and scenery. This as a short, by welcomed break between driving and unpacking. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and we had double doors leading to a private patio. We quickly changed into our bathing suits and headed to the pool where we found an attendant available to fill beverage orders. When reserving our room, we also made dinner reservations. Our table was on the covered patio, facing the scenery. The meal and ambiance was outstanding. Tables are spaced to maintain a private conversation, but by desert we were engaged in a fun conversation with a young German couple.
We could have used, and should have asked for, a luggage rack... I'm sure it could have been provided. BUT, our only regret was staying only 1-night at Borgo Giallonardo.

Excellent breakfast buffet with omelette or scrambled egg available to order as well as coffee/cappuccinos to order. We stayed in one of the King Suites which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The grounds are stunning and we felt so relaxed during our stay, the pool area is also amazing and you can order lunch and drinks to there. It is only 15 minute walk to La Spiagga beach and a short drive to the bay of sirens. It is also only 10 minutes to Realmonte for restaurants and the stairs of the turks and 5 minutes to Siculiana for restaurants. The valley of the temples is 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. We ate on site one night and the food was delicious, although rather pricey at 38 euros per person. Restaurant recommendations: Siculiana: La Giara and Maioliche Bistro Realmonte: Osteria dei Folli
Evening menu was not very varied, a lot of the same ingredients every night, if it had been more varied we would have definitely eaten there more. I think there's a problem with the electrical wiring as the switches were unpredictable and would switch different light on/off every time, including the downstairs lights and some stopped working altogether.

The place is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The beach (La Spiagetta) nearby is awesome. The hotel is a great place to relax and just chill by the pool. The breakfast includes loads of fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, focaccia, all kinds of sweet pastries and youghurt.
If you have to find something; The service was a bit slow during the dinner and when ordering drinks by the pool.

A beautiful and quiet place to relax. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all the comforts. Nice pool with a few sunbeds and also there is a small beach nearby if you want to swim at the sea (it gets very crowded during the weekends though)
The pool could stay open for a bit longer (closes at 19:00), as the evening is the best time to enjoy it when there is not so much heat. I also think that the room was a bit overpriced (although it was one of the best rooms of the hotel). 240 euros for a single night is too much for Sicily/ Agrigento (and not during high season).

Welcome and attention of staff were excellent.
One of the two allocated rooms was fitted out for a handicapped person. This was not appropriate for a non-handicapped couple (man was 2m tall, facilities were too low and a strain on the back). As the season was cool to cold (8 degrees at night and 16 degrees during the day) and as the heating units were already disconnected and no portable heaters could be provided, especially in the bathrooms, this made it uncomfortable. The swimming pool facilities, which were advertised as functional, and confirmed upon questioning before arrival, was not yet open.

Everything was just perfect. The hotel staff was very friendly. the room was perfectly clean and quiet. the small hotel itself and the surrounding was very beautiful. The pool area is very nice with chill music in the background. The Dinner in the evening was delicious. The Breakfast was a huge buffet with home made cake, home made pesto, fresh eggs/omlette etc, cheese, joghurt, fresh fruits, sweets and local stuff. Much more than we did expect from the normal italian breakfast. The beach is a 15 minutes walk away.
If I had to mention something negative: There were so many lights and light switches in the room and we got confused :-D. it was only possible to fixe one side of the door to our terrace.

Very nice and quiet atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The room was really clean and stylish. Great variety at breakfast. Easy to park the car next to the building and move around.
We stayed there in October and the pool could have been a bit warmer. A tasting would have been nice at the Wine Relais, but we could reserve a wine tasting only for a time that was not suitable for us so we had to skip it.

The location is amazing, in the middle of an olive tree field, a very quiet and relaxing place. A beach is only 5 min drive away, a very beautiful place. The reception and restaurant are very modern and the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, everything you could ask for is there and the quality of the food is great. The pool is also beautiful, clean, and nice to relax (although the water was very very refreshing :-))
Internet was not good in our room, we could not use it. The rooms are big but they would need a redecoration with some new furniture in order to keep up with the beautiful reception, restaurant, and terrace of the restaurant. The sofa is not comfortable. The master bed is comfortable but the bed sofa we could not use and placed the mattress on the floor.

A modern small hotel nestled in the countryside, it offered a quiet and relaxing stay. I just wish I was there on holiday and could have enjoyed the pool which looked amazing. I think they have built a really sweet building and whilst they interior styling might not be to everyones taste it offered that modern styling you find in most modern hotels but the exterior is where the charm is! Lots of small areas to enjoy and beautiful views. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is served by a really lovely man who went out of his way to accommodate peoples requests. Loved the welcome messages and information sent over before I checked in. The reception was perfect and the receptionist a delight to talk with.
Unfortunately the food was well below par, but I only ate one evening meal there. Breakfast was fine, cold cuts and cheese so you can not go wrong but the evening meal I had there shocked me. I really hope it was a one off and that it was not a reflection of the kitchen, after all a kitchen can make or break a venue and it was the only thing that displeased me during my stay.

Very nice hotel in a quiet pleasant location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a large choice of items and staff there to make omelettes etc. Option of evening meal with good food. Very nice large room, good view of vineyard/olive groves and surrounding hills. Huge balcony. Nice pool that we unfortunately didn't use. Close to quiet local beaches. Close to Agrigento which has a lot of nice restaurants.
Some of the roads leading to the hotel were quite small and in disrepair but that seems to not be unusual in Sicily!
