This place is amazing. Like visiting a palace, our sitting area in our huge room had a fireplace and hand painted ceiling from the 1700’s. The room also had a stunning view of the countryside and a large bathroom with a fantastic hot tub. But the real standout here was Frederica, she booked us dinners and organized a somewhat hard to find taxi when we left. Nothing was too much trouble. She is also very friendly and her English is good. She also organized a very good breakfast. If you are in town for a visit do yourself a favor and stay here!!

Palazzo Carletti is a diamond of a find. It's right in the middle of Montepulciano, easy walking distance to everything you want. Walking in, we were amazed at the interior. Beautiful frescos on the walls and ceilings (which are at least 20ft high). Really lovely staff. Great benefits like a free minibar and pre/post dinner drinks in the lobby. Our room had a cool secret door to the bathroom and a separate loft style space with an extra bed and sofa to sit and enjoy wine and a film if you wanted. During our two week road trip which included Pisa, Florence and two rural resorts, this has been the best stay by a long way.

If you have cases, make sure you drive to the hotel, montepulciano is hilly! Also, don't be afraid of driving through the streets. There are lots of signs which look like you can't, but you're allowed to get to the hotel and park for 20 minutes before taking the car to the nearby car park. (The hotel have reserved spaces which you can use for free). The aircon in the room could have been stronger, but we slept with the windows open instead.

This was a delightful stay. The room was extremely comfortable and very elegant. Federika was an outstanding hostess - warm and welcoming, and full of great information about the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We liked everything, but do want to note that since it's a central city location, the parking is challenging, and getting the suitcases from the car to the hotel itself is somewhat of a slog. This is not a town or a hotel for anyone who has mobility issues. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

My fiancé and I agree that this stay was a highlight of our trip! We loved our one-night stay so much that we tried to extend the reservation but sadly, the property was sold out. Our room was beautiful in design, comfortable and clean. It truly felt palatial! We enjoyed the most stunning view from the balcony. We woke up early to catch the sunrise which was breathtaking! The staff was warm and welcoming and offered the utmost hospitality. The rooms contained a stocked fridge and snacks; the provided toiletries were plentiful and good quality. Breakfast was terrific and we loved our cappuccini! I would say the only downside of this stay was that it was too short — we hope to return on our next visit to Montepulciano!

Niente!

This is most unlike the majority of hotels. It is one floor up from the street & consists of five large rooms set around a giant room which accommodates reception, lounge & breakfast tables. Our room was large, grandly historic in style & featured am exceptionally comfortable bed. Of particular note was the drinks trolley (pictured) in the central lounge area. "Help yourself to whatever you like," we were told. "It's all included."

Like many historic Italian cities, car parking is inconvenient. It turns out that one is permitted to take your car to the hotel to drop off your bags before parking in a car park 400 (hilly) metres away. The instructions are far from clear, however, so we ended up lugging our bags all the way from the car park. Not the best of starts to a stay!

A clean and spectacularly beautiful place, with a view of Tuscany.  The hostess Federica welcomed us to the hotel with a smile, and gave us the best recommendations, we ate at the best restaurant in our entire trip thanks to her. In addition rooms are huge and beautiful, there is a spa shower, the breakfast was good and there's a free parking that the hotel provides. We will definitely be back

There's no elevator. You have to go up one floor with all the luggage. But the hostess really helped us, and this is probably the case in all of Montepoliziano building's (in the center).

Palazzo Carletti is beautiful, is in a perfect location for strolling around Montepulciano, and has amazing views. The rooms are gorgeous and the bed was the most comfortable bed I can remember sleeping in. The complimentary bar car and yummy breakfast takes it to 11!

Parking can be a bit confusing and the streets are narrow so can be a challenge during busy times but the staff was very helpful getting us to parking.

First, it is a great location. And the place is marvelous- very grand and well decorated. Our room. while on the dark side since it faced the street, was very large and comfortable. Beautiful high ceilings with painted vault. Very nice bathroom with great shower/ And, our hostess, Franchescia couldn't have been more helpful and friendly- and a great cook too! And, we enjoyed the provide breakfast as well.

Perfect place to stay in Tuscany. Great location in the main town, close to wineries and restaurants. Room was large, well-lit, and clean. The staff were so kind, even offering to pack us breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning to catch a train. The hotel has a few reserved parking spots nearby, which made our stay stress-free. Looking forward to returning soon.
