Hotel Savoia & Campana

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Montecatini, a short walk to all amenities, cafes, restaurants. The hosts, Giacomo & Lucca were so lovely, they could not have been more helpful, they made our stay in Montecatini so enjoyable & memorable.

We loved our entire stay at Hotel Savoia e Campana. It was exactly what we wanted. The hotel owners, Giacomo & Lucca are outstanding hosts, so welcoming, so helpful & just lovely people. It would have been great if breakfast and/or coffee/tea facilities were available but that would not deter us from staying here again or recommending it to friends & family. There is nothing we didn’t like about our stay at Hotel Savoia e Campana!

The hotel is well located in a quiet street just a few metres from the city centre. It is a basic hotel which was the type that we were looking for. The staff were always very friendly greeting you as you arrived and left the hotel. The room was a good size with enough storage for a weeks stay. There were no problems with any of the facilities on offer.

It was a basic but comfortable hotel as we anticipated, but perhaps some tea or coffee making facilities in the room would have made a siesta more enjoyable!

Building is beautiful, splendid lobby space. Owners are more than nice people and always at your disposition ready to help with information. There is a beautiful terrace if you smoke or just want to have coffee/tea. Very quiet hotel. Bed linen are of great quality, usually found only in 5 star hotels.

Booking information says there is a free parking which is true if you park your car pretty far away. The nearest parking is, if you find free spot, next street. Good thing is that the owners can give you a parking ticket for 3 Euros/24hours. Hotel has a bar which is not working, unfortunately. It would be great to have breakfast there.

The staff was super friendly and we were feeling very welcome at the hotel. Check in, additional requests and the check out were handled very professionally and with hospitality and kindness. The hotel itself is very pretty both from the outside and inside and the bathroom of our room was very spacious. The location is perfect to discover the city. A bicycle parking area exists.

The hotel is noisy. You could hear the other guests snoring at night. There was a lot of noise from the street where our room was located until 4 o'clock in the morning, and then more noise from other guests from 6 o'clock on on the corridor, plus even more noise from construction work from 8 o'clock on. You need earplugs at this place if you are a light sleeper.

Sound usolation I wish to be more solid

Very good central location just off one of the main streets in Montecatini. The hotel doesn't have it's own car park but the reception desk staff member was so helpful in telling us about a free one just 500m away. We chose to pay to park on the main street which cost just over 3 Euro per day if bought at the hotel and then displayed in car window. The room was simple but clean, all you need for a nights stay. The hotel has a taste of "old Italy" which is rather charming. Excellent value for money. Close to the train station for trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc.

We enjoyed very much our stay and every wish we had it was solved instantly at reception by the staff. The hotel is cozy, very close to the city centre and all the lovely cafes. It has the vibe of old and lovely Italy, which was exactly what we were looking for. We can't thank you enough for our pleasant stay!

It's not something that we didn't like, but it would have been lovely a breakfast in the morning. Anyhow, we went to the little cafe close to the hotel. We wish you all the best! :)

Hotel located in central area of Montecatini Terme in beautiful building and very pleasant and helpful and friendly staf. Comfortable big rooms with perfect cleaning. Refrigerator in rooms. Nice terrace with plants in pots - good place to have breakfast.

Our room was quite noisy. We heard all sounds from the kitchen and washing dishes from other hotel located in the neighbourhood.

Hosts are the ones to be desired, really great people. Location good, room comfy, I really like the old school look of the building both outside and inside.

There is only one thing to dislike and that is that the room was looking to the street which is noise from time to time but it was really not an issue for us.

Very good hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always polite. They would go out of there way to help in anyway they could.

Although not a problem, it would have been better if breakfast was available but as I said it is not problem because you are in the centre of town with lots of cafés close by.
