Great location, great apartment with nice atmosphere and art. An amazing terrace where you can enjoy the view of Etna, the sea and Catania. The breakfast is typical Italian - with sweet croissants, muffins, juice, coffee and tea, everything was packed and already left in the kitchen and fridge. We bought extra products from the famous Catania market, which is a stone's throw away, because we prefer cheese, prosciutto, vegetables, etc. for breakfast. The kitchen had everything you need in terms of equipment. The bathroom was at the level of the terrace (before you go out), you have to go up some stairs, so it's not bad to have slippers. All in all a very comfortable and lovely place with kind and helpful hosts.

The location is excellent. It is very close to the bus drop off from the train station as well as the fish market and duomo square. There were many restaurants and we really enjoyed exploring the area. Alessandro was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations of places to check out as well as a city map to help us. Just as a note the breakfast is self-serve (packaged toast and jam, juice, and yogurt) if you would like more plan to go out.

Friendly, helpful check-in and very nice cleaning lady in the morning, who helped with the coffee machine. Lots of space in our room, TV, en suite facilities and effective air con. Great coffee in the morning and self-service fridge etc. Lovely roof terrace. Good central location- close to all main tourist attractions, including traditional fish market, bus terminal to airport etc.

Some of the decor is looking a little tired and could do with a refresh. Our attic room didn’t have much natural light, but access to the roof terrace made up for this.

really very nice and helpful staff, the rooms were nice and comfortable. The location of the accommodation is perfect, everything important can be reached on foot in just a few minutes, such as the city center, fish market, bus station.... I would love to come back next time :-)

BAD is an unique accomodation for everyone how know what needs when travel.Excellent locatoin,staff,check in.The facilities where also unique.Good breakfast.Extra value for the money.If we go to Catania again we will choose BAD again.And certainly recommend to friends.Thank You again.

Everything was great. The location is fantastic, my room was spacious and comfortable, even though it was street-facing it was very quiet at night, everything was clean and it’s only a two-minute walk from the bus stop called Piazza Borsellino (which is probably your best stop if you have luggage). If I was coming back I would be happy to stay here again.

I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing but if you’re expecting a traditional B&B breakfast you will be disappointed by the packaged pastries. Fortunately there are lots of good cafes less than five minutes away.

Alessandro was very welcoming and very helpful in everything we needed. BAD couldn't be better located - right next to the famous fish market of Catania and all its nightlife. It is also around the corner, literally from a main bus stop so you can catch the bus to and from the airport, as well as lots of regional buses, e.g. to Siracusa or to Taormina. The room was big for two people, excellent aircon, lovely bathroom. Tiptop facilities

The breakfast was okay - but I think this is typical in Italy: packaged pastries, so it's not really a slight against BAD per se.

Location of this property was pefect. Only 5 minutes away from the heart of the city and 1 minute from the fish market. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The host was friendly and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was taken in the room and consisted of juice, yogurt, toasted bread, different types of jam and a bun.

There was no socilazing due to Covid 19. Pity really! The bathroom was a bit cramped and could do with some modernizing.The light was insufficient for a proper face shave.

The room and kitchen were very well equipped, the roof top terrace is beautiful and the perfect place for a morning coffee or sundowner drink. The bathroom is a bit small but clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient to the bus station, which we appreciated. Room is a good size for three people.

Breakfast was okay, but fresh baked goods would have been nice.
