Hotel Cavour

It's a family run hotel so everything seems to be done with a lot of care. Nadia at the Reception was very friendly and helpful and her elderly parents, obviously the founders, were also on hand to greet the guests, so the whole atmosphere was like being in a "family"!. My single room (101) was of an adequate size and newly refurbished. The shower was modern and in perfect working condition! My travel companions' double room (108) was of a good size, with a balcony and with a similarly good shower! Breakfast, mostly Continental, was adequate. Everything was very clean and in good order. The hotel is right in front of the Railway Station and a short walk away from all the cities' main attractions. The Tourist Board map available at the hotel desk shows them on the map with a brief description of each, which we found very helpful. Plenty of restaurants and bars also within walking distance. There is a parking right in front of the hotel, with Parking metres, but we were lucky enough that there was a space available in their own parking, free of charge. Although it is classified as a 2-star hotel, it could really be a 3 star. If we ever go back to Asti, we would certainly go back to the same hotel.

Being in front of the Railway Station, the area around the hotel seems a bit daunting at first, but we found it was not a problem and in the evening it quietens down.

The ‘owner’ was very, helpful and provided a list of restaurants . The one we tried was excellent. Breakfast was good and the rooms had good facilities and air conditioning. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful centre. I have a disabled badge so we could park right outside the hotel.

The location opposite the station was a bit off putting and the immediate area is not great but the 5-10 minute walk to the delightful town centre made up for it.

Friendly, beautiful ladies at reception. 2 steps from the train station. All ok, breakfast man was lovely, made a big cappuccino for me to start the day well. Thank you :-))

The owners of Hotel Cavour, Nadia and her family, give outstanding customer service. I was on a restricted diet when there and Nadia prepared some breakfast specifically for my needs. The room is really well cleaned and maintained in spick and span condition every day. Nadia also helped in very way so that I arrange the transport I needed to get around in the are Five-start customer care service is given.

§the host has been so nice. I am allergic to diary and she provided all the possible solutions for me to have a breakfast! Room is clean and well equipped. The hotel is nearby to the railway station and 5 minutes by foot from the downtown.

Since it's right by the side of the railway station, the zone is populated by the immigrants mostly, but we didn't encounter any particular problem.

Central location very close to railway station, cosy, very clean room and excellent staff. Good breakfast with nice cup of coffee :)

A very practical hotel. Nothing fancy, but everything clean and functional. A very good position, right by the railway station but still quiet at night. You can hear noises from other rooms and the corridor, but this is no problem unless some guests are inconsiderate and noisy at night - something I didn't experience.

The hotel locates in front of railway station and in walking distance from city center. The property is good maintained. The room has basic amentities: AC, minibar. The bathroom has shoewr cabin and bide. The breakfast was basic. The staff was helpful. All facilities warked well.

Small hotel in city center. Lovely staff, we got help with secure parking. Good break first. We asked for recommendation regarding a vine yard to visit. The owner called there local supplier that agreed to open for us on a Sunday :-) Great affordable wines. Please visit La Milanesa 1917. GREAT. Thank you for your help

Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows comfortable. Interesting view. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of information from the reception staff about the hotel and Asti. Good location for discovering Asti.
