Kellys Hotel

First impressions are important to me and the staff at Kelly's Hotel were exceptional. One of the lovely staff even helped me carry my bags up the stairs. The room was large, airy, clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and was one of the best nights sleep I had whilst traveling around Europe. The location is brilliant with easy access to all the local bars, cafes, shops, restaurants & attractions. AND the breakfast downstairs was EXCELLENT!!! Once again the staff in the restaurant were so accommodating & had fantastic customer service. Attached to the hotel is several bars & lounge areas which I believe can be quite the happening place when it is open...We were there Mon-Wed night so didn't experience any of that as it wasn't open. Overall a well deserved 10/10. We had a fantastic stay.

If im to be really picky the light outside in the alcove between the 2 rooms is left on over night and it shines directly into the bedroom. I used a towel to cover the door so the light didn't enter the room.

The staff exceeded our expectations, and they are so knowledgeable about the area. They are friendly and professional. Both the young ladies on reception are a credit to the hotel. Bea gave us so much local information and treated us like friends. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The other lady I forgot her name was also outstanding and friendly. We wish them all the best in their future careers. The hotel is in an excellent location. Near Temple Bar, lots of bars, restaurants and pubs close by. Also close to all the attractions

We stayed at Kelly's for 5 days and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect - in the heart of everything with great pubs, markets, etc all around. We loved the quaintness of Kelly's and its restaurant and pub "With No Name." When we arrived Lara was so welcoming and even upgraded our room which was so nice! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Kelly's. We were so well looked after. Staff were happy to book cabs and find out about tickets, tours etc for us. The room was super clean, crisp white sheets and towels and had everything we needed for our stay. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day for us so after a big day of touring we'd come back to a lovely room again. Breakfast in the restaurant down stairs was fantastic - absolutely huge and a great variety and again the staff were just lovely. We will definitely stay here again when we come back in future. We loved that we could walk everywhere and that there was great coffee right across the road, a laundry two doors down and an amazing market and supermarket a couple of doors away! What a find! A huge thanks to Tara and the staff at Kelly's for making our trip so great. We will definitely be back!

Nothing - we loved our stay!

This hotel is in a perfect location. Near so many restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. They did a vegan breakfast for me, (which most hotels don't even have) and I wasn't expecting them to. It was so yummy and I appreciated it.

Obviously it is right above a bar so it is very noisy at night but they warned me of this the minute I booked and also provided ear plugs in the room. With the ear plugs in, I had an extremely peaceful and comfy sleep 😁 But if this is an issue for you, maybe Kelly's isn't the place to stay. One tiny bit of feedback is they should have an extra bin in the room. Cause the bathroom bin is fine but it's always good to have an extra one in the room.

The location, being right in the heart of the Restaurant and Bar precinct of Dublin was brilliant! The breakfast, cooked by the restaurant next door was just amazing…both in portion size (we just couldn’t finish our meals, they were just such generous portions!) and in deliciousness! The room was very comfy and the bed was heavenly!

We were not aware that all the bars in the precinct around the Hotel had their keg deliveries done on the Thursday morning from about 4:30am onwards….and the noise was just unbelievable….and it went on for about 4 hours!!

Kelly's Hotel was a fabulous experience. Our room was fantastic, with all the facilities. It is a gem of a property as there were so many different rooms in the communal areas, like bars, lounges and other rooms to chill. Good value for money and the location was perfect, bang in the centre being five minutes walk from the main attractions. We have never experienced such glorious service by hotel staff, ever! They were all brilliant, with a shout out in particular to Yasmin and Beatrice. They were truly superb! Thank you!!!

Nothing!

This is a charming boutique hotel right in the Temple district. It was so nice and the room was larger than expected (being used to small european hotel rooms). The location is perfect with bars, restaurants, sightseeing and shopping right on the doorstep. The staff was very helpful and friendly and let us keep our luggage there so we could have breakfast at a local restaurent on our departure day. I wished we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the lovely lobby and spend more time in the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal location, with wonderful breakfast offerings downstairs. Room was big and bathroom adequate. Bed was comfy and TV and other amenities nicely positioned in the room. View down the main road was great, you really feel in the middle of the action in the city.

The bathroom tub is a bit dated and hot water didn't work on the last day, the locks are a bit old fashioned and could be updated (only door to room). Windows are a bit thin as noise makes it through, luckily I am a deep sleeper and this didn't bother me at all.

Very clean, very comfortable bed, great shower,.. breakfast was very nice. Really lovely staff. Great location in the heart of Temple Bar.

There was a refrigerator truck outside all night in a loading bay which made a loud noise all night long. Very annoying. There was lots shouting late at night too, but only to be expected I suppose in this "party" area. The room was way too hot and we could not open the window.

The location is absolutely perfect for all your sight seeing and for being in the heart of the city.Breakfast is varied and generous. Rooms while compact have everything you need and are clean and comfortable.

Think seriously about the noise factor..while the sound of people enjoying themselves is never unpleasant the bass is hard to ignore (even with the thoughtfully provided earplugs)and it does go on till 2:30am..you are sleeping in a night club
