Pandan Bungalow

The location is excellent. You'll get a great sunset view over the southern end of Gili Meno. The bungalow I stayed in (number 11) was very spacious, a big comfortable bed with mosquito nets overhead. A couple of handmade bedside lamps, shelf unit with stool, and a safe, a small fridge and air-conditioning. The bathroom was also spacious, I really liked the combination of pebbles and dark slabs under the shower. As expected, there was no hot water, though that really didn't matter as the weather is always so hot, so a cold (ish) shower is quite welcomed. The pool was clean and in full sunshine most of the day. There are a couple of cabanas next to it for some shade. On the whole the staff were friendly and helpful. The vegetarian curry was delicious, as were the vegetable spring rolls. Breakfast was pretty basic with a choice of eggs, toast, juices & coffee/tea. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed our stay.

Room 11 shares a wall with room 10, and I could hear the people in the next room really clearly. Over three nights, they talked & laughed until 3.30 am. Be aware that rooms 8 & 9, 10 & 11 (Delux rooms) share a wall. And as there's no insulation whatsoever voices carry very clearly between the rooms.

- We love the guys who are running the place, they made our hole stay on the Island. We even came back for the second time to stay with them, and we definitely would come back the next time. - The bungalow is simple, cute and the beds are comfortable. We like the garden, which gives a really tropical vibe to the place. - The wifi was fine, sometimes it needed a new log in. - There are different activities available - Every evening there is a bonfire on the beach, sometimes jamming sessions and cocktails are only 35k. - The fish from the bbq is the best! - They have bikes available to rent.

Some bungalows has hot showers and some don't, but this is very common in Indonesia.

We were worried about missing the boat to get to the island on time but Dean sorted us out after we asked to change the days. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re Muslim this place is definitely a go to. The sunsets on the beach which is on the doorstep was stunning. You can book anything through them with decent prices. We went for Eid prayer and we’re invited to his home with his beautiful family to eat. The staff even sorted my husband out with going to the gym. Anything we asked for they helped as much as they could.

We only wished we could have stayed longer :(

Second time here, and still wasn’t long enough! But it sure was a treat to see my boy Kasim and crew again! Place has grown a little since my last stay four years ago, pool and everything. Can’t really say enough about my experience when I visit this place, as it is very special to me, just like the rest of the island. Everything you need can be handled with the utmost care, from breakfast, bike rental, laundry, tours, etc. I’ll see y’all again soon!

The beach, the price and location. Staff are very nice. Big rooms. AC very good, net for the bed to keep the mosquitos away. Nice terrace and kettle for tea/coffee. Fridge in room.

The pillows are a bit hard and high. Only reason I chose to leave. I will come back though as I liked it otherwise. Bad lighting, a bit dark in the room as well.

This place is located right on the beach on the western side of Gili Air (nice for sunsets). The place is spartan but have all the necessities and the boys working there are really helpful.

As I was travelling with luggage I had to catch the 'horse taxi' to get to this destination. Would have been nice if it was in a walking distance from the port, to avoid that kind of transport.

Location was wonderful, just 20 minutes by walk to the harbour. There was hot water in the bathroom, which is not in every hotel as we found out. Happy hour was whole day, so the drinks were for very good prize. Also the garden was well maintained, there is even home made gym. The best sunset is from the beach at the hotel with the bonfire every evening. Staff was amazing and very friendly. We had so much fun with them and they made our stay much better. I definitely recommend to stay there.

Just off the beach, with a restaurant at the front and friendly staff always around. View on Gili Meno and mount Agung in the distance when the air is clear. We were there at the start of the wet season which meant a lot of wind on this side of the island. But the dry season seems to be good. The staff was really nice, they let us heat up our leftovers pizza from a different restaurant in their kitchen. We had a good laugh pretending to be employees. Can rent bikes next door.

Leaks with heavy rain. It felt a little sandy under the fitted sheets.

Breakfast is pretty basic, but such peaceful views over ocean Bean bags could do with an update and maybe some sunloungers to make the most of the beach

Great location on the north east sunset side of the island. A few steps to the beach and 15 min walking distance to the main centre/harbour area. Good sized bungalow with hot water, WiFi and mosquito net
