De Mandarin Beach Resort Suites & Villas, Candolim

I booked this room at last minute and the room facilities and washroom was really good. Everything was as it was shown in the pictures.We had done early check in and also requested for extended hours check out (on payment of extra charges) which is very well supported by staff. There were complementary drinks on arrival and 2 complimentary beer which was really a sweet gesture. So in entirety it made up to the overall experience.

Just one thing - when there is power cut it is all dark in the room for 2-3 minutes and then power comes back.considering the frequent electricity fluctuations the power back up support needs to be improved.thanks!

Good property, well maintained with a high level of service. The staff are extremely well-behaved and courteous led by Mirza Baig in the front office. The pool is well maintained but there is no section for the kids. The pool has a uniform depth of 4 feet. The rooms are well maintained, newly furnished and very spacious. We had a good pool view from D Wing. B Wing also has the pool view / pool access. The food is tasty. Let by the chef and his intern team of Nagaland boys we met, they are doing a great job. The breakfast menu option is good enough but not as much variety that one would expect in a 4 start hotel. The location is also great. Just out of the property and 50 metres away is the main road lined with restaurants, shops, shopping plaza, convenience stores etc. The property is secured with security staff 24x7.

Though the beach is barely 100 metres from the property, there is no proper road to the beach. It is via open land walking on grass and between bushes and hedges.

Beautiful resort well located. The staff is next level professionals and go out of the way to make u comfortable. Must visit if u are travelling with family. Food is good 👍 but we were out mostly. Only drawback is that there is nothing to do for kids , like a swing or slide which most resorts have. The pool is huge and clean though.

No entertainment for small kids. Nothing else about this place is negative

they have to upgrade the AC in rooms it makes so much of noise I’m living room they have to add more room for people to sit like additional chairs or something when more than 4 stay there is no place to sit on the couch and one has to sit down. not that anyone cannot live with it’s just good to have most importantly they have to upgrade the swimming to have area for kids. During our stay we did see lot of kids and it’s family friendly but pool is only 4 feet deep for everyone so if they have kids pool area that would be great.. like I traveled with 2 years old and he loves water but did not get down cause he couldn’t put his foot down

good choice of food for breakfast, great pool service with wonderful freshly squeezed juices made to order, easy walk to either the main road or the beach. if you go to the beach turn left and look for The New Inn, Jame's shack, for more excellent food.

Very good location for beach. 10 minute walk. Reasonable room service/food options/buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Swimming pool on site. Close to main road with supermarket and shops/restaurants.

Wifi was quite slow for us. Neighboring room people were quite loud late at night.

Very spacious and clean suites. An oasis in the midst of a very busy area.

We liked everything, however the breakfast could be improved. There were quite a few items of Indian breakfast but not much more than fruit and toast for continental.

we booked Suite for a family of 4. It was really specious , clean and gave luxurious feeling. Location is awesome. Near to beach and the main street, where people can find restaurants and cafes. Staff was nice and polite. Mirza messaged us before arrival and took care of our questions.

It’s in walk-in distance from Candolim beach. Rooms are so spacious clean (almost 1 BHK size). Two balconies per room are like add-on. Property is very clean and well maintained. Staff is 24/7 available and so polite and always excited to serve you. Kitchen is kids friendly too, meals can be easily customised upon request. Very near to market. Also almost all toiletries are made available in your stay so no need to pack a lot of items and travel light. All other beaches are easily accessible as property is near to main road. Definitely going to stay here for next trip and recommend to others.
