Greasy bacon, couldn’t find milk for tea until my last day. Could do with normal tea with milk in the room as they only provided scented tea or 1 coffee sachet each day. No water provided in the room. I asked for tea for the room from the nighttime staff and he was quite rude to me as he ate a bag of crisps so I left went to my room. Other staff were lovely.

The location is very good as it's close to the metro station and the view over the anube River and the Parliament is phenomenal. The breakfast was rich but the restaurant always crowded, several days we had to wait for a table to be free

The rooms didn't have a balcony. We requested two single beds, but they didn't have, they had a sofa bed which wasn't comfortable due to metal protruding from the sides which is a safety hazard while getting in and out of bed

Stayed here for 5 nights while attending the Grand Prix. The location is great, in a nice quiet area next to the river. The view from the restaurant is incredible, looking out over to the parliament building., especially at night when its all lit up. Eat in the restaurant on two nights of our stay and the food was faultless and good value. Lots of choice at breakfast. Had a twin room, which had a separate shower room and toilet, which was a definite bonus. Would definitely stay here again, should i ever return to Budapest.

Beautifully located opposite the glorious Parliament Building and a short stroll to tram stop and train station. Breakfast was good but not as good as other hotels we stayed in. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed.

Most breakfast staff were spot on however some of the younger females appeared to be a bit lazy. It was difficult to get their attention as they deliberately avoided eye contact. One appeared to be more interested in flirting with male staff than attending to guests.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Splendid location, overlooking the Parliament. Metro, tram, bus station nearby. On-site parking. Quiet room. Cleanliness.

Bed is too soft for my taste. Separate toilet and bathroom. The shower was a ridiculously complicated design and the head was about to disintegrate. The washing basin is uncomfortable to use, and looks like it was scavenged from a railway station toilet 30 years ago -- it was clean, nevertheless. I still recommend the hotel -- the positive things far outweigh these minor nuisances.

Fantastic location at the Danube bank, parking right in front of the hotel. Clean and cosy rooms, good choice of food at the breakfast. The staff at the reception very kind and helpfull. The maids are also doing a great job, rooms are cleaned regularly.

The staff at the breakfast should be a lot more tidy. It was not nice seeing them throw all the leftovers from the tables on the floor and the tables were not cleaned properly after guests. I was hoping that was not going to happen after first morning but same thing repeated three days in a row. I understand that the hotel was full of guests but hygiene standard must be sustained at all times.

The room was decent sized with full bathroom. The view was phenomenal, directly across from the parliament building. Parking is directly in front of the hotel, the only challenge is when buses come through. The drivers are friendly and will quickly move out of your way. You can walk most places from the hotel or just catch the metro or bus just steps away. They had an amazing breakfast that included everything for an English breakfast as well as traditional European breakfast options.

Location is fantastic, right in the middle between the City and the touristy locations. Public transport is only 5 minutes away Rooms are good size and very clean. Everything works as it should.

Cannot say anything negative. The restaurant downstairs has a great view - but will soon need a refurb. Staff are very efficient and do everything very quickly a correctly. Perhaps for some people they could appear little cold. More smiles. But this is not something I would criticize too much.

The hotel is right next to Fortress Hill, and you can visit the Duna Castle easily (15 min walking distance to the funicular. It is also just across the Parliament building, which gives you an incredible night spectacle if you have a room facing the Danube. Breakfast was ok, and varied, as you would expect from the Novotel chain. Great amenities, but the cherry on top is the placement of the hotel which is worth all the money. Very friendly staff, great professionals.

High volume hotel, with standard furniture which starts showing its age. Typical of hotel chains.

Hotel is nice and clean, the restaurant working till 9PM location is great, on the Boda side and very close Staff was vey nice and friendly

on the Boda side, due to construction on the main bridge the walk to the City center takes 40 minutes, breakfast not included and expensive although children under 16 doesn't pay for breakfast, there are not many local facilities, like shops, restaurants or grocery shops in the area
