Mamaison Residence Izabella Budapest

Really lovely place, with well equipped rooms and very friendly staff. We made an upgrade deal before we arrived. Though the apartment was absolutely stunning it faced the street and was quite noisy because of the traffic. We asked for a different apartment and then got a smaller one at the very back of the hotel, facing into the courtyard. We liked that on even better. We like to prepare food when we're on holiday, the apartment was well equipped for that. The location is great to explore the city.

It would have been even nicer if the pan and pots where newer/ better quality. And the sofa could have been more comfortable. But those are really minor things, I would recommend this hotel to others and also stay there again.

Mamaison Isabella is in a very convenient location, a block away from metro and easy, walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping. Our room was truly an apartment and the best we had out of the four different places we stayed on our vacation. It was large with a living room, full kitchen, desk and dining table, extremely comfortable, well-equipped, with washer/dryer, large bathroom. The staff was very helpful. Although we didn’t use it, there is a full gym, sauna, laundry facilities in the basement and in the apartment.

while breakfast was included, it didn’t have enough gluten free or vegan options - breakfast was scrambled eggs, two types of hot meat, coldcuts, cheese and then a couple of small bowls of cucumbers and tomatoes,  a lot of bread and nice pastries, muesli and dried fruit and nuts. so it was sufficient, but just not my favorite. Pretty small complaint for an otherwise fantastic place.

Size of the room was great, 2 separate rooms, conveniently equipped, cozy, nice decor, 2 tvs. Breakfast was better than I expected, there was everything that we needed (sausages, scrambled eggs, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, ham, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, jam, etc). Excellent location, close to shopping street, restaurants, parks, zoo. There's a convenience store nearby.

Some crumbs fell on the floor, which we could not clean up because there was no broom. The cleaner left it there too, just made the bed. Coffee was not that great.

Fabulous and spacious Deluxe suite. Very spacious and well equipped with microwave, dishwasher and cooker. House keeping came in daily to clean and service new towels And even change bed on day 3. Extremely quiet apartment in 5th floor and no noise from street or traffic. Few metres from supermarket which we found cheaper than Spa shops. Close to metro. Everything in apartment is modern and clean. Comfortable large bed and sofa bed in lounge also very comfortable. Highly recommended.

on booking hotel boasts rich breakfast but would disagree. It was adequate for our stay but if you prefer a wide selection at breakfast you will be disappointed. Definitely need more fresh fruit. However it was adequate but limited choice and I do feel this let’s the hotel down a little otherwise I would have scored a 10.

The location was fantastic - it looked great and offered plenty of space. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it!

We encountered some initial parking issues but we had an alternative spot. To make up for the inconvenience, they even offered us a complimentary breakfast. This thoughtful gesture made us appreciate their dedication to guest satisfaction. The one aspect that didn't fully meet our expectations was the breakfast diversity. We found the options somewhat limited for our preferences.

Lots of space, multiple wardrobes, large bathroom and washing machine, even the balcony was huge. The courtyard was neat and nice, resembling a well-kept garden. There was a small freezer in the fridge and plenty of plates and cookware in the cupboards. The speed of the wifi was excellent too.

There was only one roll of toilet paper in the loo. I could hear some chatting from the courtyard in the evening but it was tolerable. The bar stools at the dining table took some time to get used to.

We came after a very bad experience in a different place. The apt is lovely Nice facilities, fully equiped kitchen. There are only bar chairs, 3, consider that.

But when we arrived we had a pee stain on the toilet seat, and the windows were nasty. I asked a cleanning lady to come and she came to clean but the feeling didnt leave me. Besides that everything else was great.

The size of the suite, good quality of the extra bed (sofa), big kitchen, large bathroom with jacuzzi.

Cleaning on demand was confusing. We had a form to fill in about what we need but didn’t seem to be respected. Or maybe the clearing staff didn’t understood the english version. We checked the item for refilling tissues but they never got refilled. Not a big issue. I believe these new eco-friendly optimizations in hotels have zero impact on the environment and should be dropped. An alternative should be to train the cleaning staff to notice what misissing and refill/replace rather than printing forms for guests to fill in.

The room looked splendid and exactly like on the advertised pictures. We were first in doubt of booking the hotel because online you can find pictures of a lot more dated rooms (which are very different from the advertised ones). The new advertised ones you get though, so all good. It was also very quiet, clean, and spacious inside of the room. All-in-all one of the few places I would definitely recommend and go back to. Owh and by the way, parking is free of charge on the street on Saturday and Sunday, which is nice if you do not want to use the parking of the hotel (during the week you can only park up to 3h if you are not a resident).

The entrance area looks nice & roomy although a little dated vs. the splendid design of the rooms. The WiFi is adequate but far from fast (so streaming is on the edge of its capabilities).

Nice, quiet hotel. Great location. Big room, with well equipped kitchen, it was perfect for our familiy. Near subway station, bus station and reception is very helpfull with all the information that you might need.

If you come with car ... parking is available, but make sure you make a reservation. We just noticed that parking was available, but NO notice that reservation is required, so we had to find parking elsewhere and it is was not an easy task in the area.
