City Hotel Thessaloniki

Everything was perfect. The room, View, breakfast, location. Most important, the staff is very kind and helpful. Huge recommendation!

The hotel is very conveniently located near Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. The staff is attentive and supportive. The rooms and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention that the beddings are very clean and that adds a huge advantage to the accommodation services. The breakfast offered includes a wide range of products.

The only disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a parking area and you need to park your car nearby. They offer guidance and you can take your car to Plateia parking. Based on the fact that you are the client of the hotel you can get an discount for parking services. The parking is very safe.

On behalf of my fellow visitors: Breakfast was very good. Buffet style, lots of options and choices. Not sure about vegan options so please enquire. The location is great, easy to walk to museums, attractions, restaurants and squares. I think the best thing is the location. Hotel staff was very helpful. We booked a large triple room, but we were only two. They upgraded our room for free as there was availability. Very grateful for that. Our stay was very enjoyable thanks to the staff. If we come back, we'll book again. The only thing is the air ventilation system is constantly on and it's a bit loud for sensitive ears. But when asked if it can be turned off, they mentioned they can try to turn it off from the engineering room. The staff is very helpful.

The staff was incredibly friendly. We asked where to park, and they offered us an incredible deal for Thessaloniki, 20 euros/24h, and they took us the car to the parking with no additional cost. It was funny because they gave us a room that wasn't ready, the maid was there. The maid reached the reception, and a personal from the stuff came and gave us another key room. After that, they came from the reception with a bottle of wine and some macaroons to apologize for the mistake. The breakfast was incredibly good

According to booking, parking facilities where available, but when we arrived we were told that the hotel cooperates with a parking but with extra cost.

Good size room. We stayed in double room with kettle, tea, good size wardrobe, one coffee table and study desk. Plenty of storage and if you want to relax you got a coffee table. The bed is very soft, but amazingly comfortable. The hotel has a seating area downstairs with outside seating as well. There is a bar downstairs as well. The bathroom was too small and the door opens inwards. Beware of locking the bathroom door, it gets stuck occasionally. Help arrived quickly though. There is a phone in the bathroom. The room was generally clean. The only thing I would say is those air con grills need cleaning. It looked quite dusty to be honest. We didn't put it on, as thankfully you can open the windows for fresh air. Breakfast was very good. Cereals, bread, cakes, eggs, mushrooms, nuts, cheese. I am not sure vegan options, I didn't check. The best is the location. We loved the location. It's so easy to get anywhere and it's a vibrant street with few restaurants. It's close to high street shops, museums, Ladadika, squares and the sea. Opposite there is a nice grocery shop, which is also very convenient. Our room was looking inwards, it was quite and cozy. Reception staff are very helpful. Will definitely stay here in our next visit because of the comfortable bed, great location and breakfast, but will book a bigger room.

The bathroom is way to small, the door opens inwards and honestly you have to squeeze to open the bathroom door. Beware of fully closing the bathroom doors, they get stuck 😄

We liked the location, environment and cleanliness. the reception staff was extremely nice, kind and friendly.

The breakfast was poor in quality and variety and more suitable for a two star hotel. Glasses, cups and cereal bowls were not enough and had to wait in queue to get one from the kitchen as soon as it was washed after a table finished. We paid in full for breakfast for four people in two rooms for all days (prepaid) and were charged two euros for an espresso coffee. It was not the amount that bothered us of course, but the fact that specialty coffees are included in all hotels we ever stayed at.

+ Location, location, location. No need to car or public transport for see the city. + Breakfast beyond expectations. + room size is quite enough + cleanliness

- They have no carpark actually. They have temporary space for 3 cars then offer contracted parking (20€/day) - Coffe is not included in breakfast. It's not a big deal but there should be at least one coffe free. - Beds were too soft.

The staff were friendly, quick to react and helpful. The interior arrangement of the room was practical. The breakfast was varied and fresh. The koulouri in particular was exceptional! My highlight was the spa at the premises. I highly recommend the deep tissue massage.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like as such, but it would have been useful to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Also, if there was a stronger hairdryer on loan from the reception it woukd have been ideal.
