The staff and location

Staff could be more attentive. - requested pepper mill for soup.. two metres away... not brought until 2nd asking, half way through soup course. - Main meal served before soup finished - wine list presented during soup and nit delivered until near the end of main course...

The spiders in the balcony and in the bedroom. There were spiders in the room and in the balcony, and we asked to remove them. They used the excuse that the hotel is nearby the forest, however, having a look in the other balconies not spiders existed. So we assumed they overlooked spiders when cleaning the bedroom and balcony.

I liked the hotel, the room was very good and comfortable, the breakfast was really good. The location is perfect. I love the garden the most. I took very good rest.

I don't like that my room was just partionally with lake view. I have paid extra to get a room with lake view. Maybe you can mentione the exact location when offering rooms. Anyway it was good.

The absolutely amazing view from the restaurant. I appreciated the room and lights therapy in the shower. I am also very happy that there was a sauna in the hotel.

The pool water was too cold for us to enjoy swimming. The hotel has a bad isolation between rooms and, if you happen to be a neighbor of a baby you will hear it. There was no cloth hanger to hang the wet swimming suits in the shower. I missed a kettle included in the room equipment.

The location of the hotel is right at the Titisee, which was great as we were there in the summer. There’s a nice indoor pool too. The hotel has it’s own (part of the) beach/shore. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but still nice and practical. The breakfast is great, the service is great too.

I was gutted that we arrived to the hotel a little later than we hoped, so we simply ran out of time to explore the hotel fully and use it's numerous facilities...but what we did see was amazing and it was a pleasure to be there (I will be going back very soon). The view from the balcony was incredible...loved it!!!

The restaurant would benefit from having Air Conditioning, it was a little too hot for my comfort.

The people there are very helpful and nice. The room is clean and quiet. The swimming pool is available and the views from the rooms and cafe are great.

I ordered a room which is not facing the Titisee. It would be nice if the restaurant could be open for coffee and one could use the desks to do a little work when seeing the beautiful sea views.

Had a room with balcony and a great view of the lake. The buffet was value for money and the restaurant had a great wine list. Easy to park. The outside area down to the lake was sublime.

The hotel is in need of renovations, the tile grout in the bathroom was dirty and the carpets in the hallways were stained. The pool area is so dated and not enough sun beds. As a hotel guest why we have to pay for parking, it’s a bloody cheek!

Great, central location on the Titisee with lovely views of the lake and surrounding hills, close to multiple walking and hiking routes and a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Despite expecting poor service and food as well as shabby rooms based on previous reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the Maritim Titisee. The building itself is simply an outdated bunker but it has a prime location. Room with balcony and lake view was comfortable and equipped with all possible amenities. The pine furniture and fittings were not to our taste, but were appropriate for the Schwarzwald location, new and of high quality. The shower was particularly excellent and bathroom was well equipped. Breakfast buffet was very good - extensive and comprehensive, even if it was at times very busy, the multinational staff managed the situation well and politely. In contrast to previous reviews, despite the busy breakfasts we never faced long waits nor were we chased out of the dining area once service ended. Bar service was also prompt and polite. In general, the multinatiional staff were proactively supportive, helpful and polite. It really seems that the hotel used the Covid period to make improvements vs some of the concerns raised in previous reviews. We expected to face some disappointments but had none whatsoever.

Exterior of hotel is unattractive and dated. Titisee town itself was disappointing - high number of not very civilised mass-tourists, with kitsch shops and outlets, and poor quality restaurants.

The food was just great - real thanks to the chief and all the cooks. It was various and delicious - some people just love their job and do it with full commitment. They deffinitely deserve the payrise! ;)

Infrared sauna was nit working at all. Also around the swimming pool it could be cleaner. The doors to the swimming pool got broken during our stay. But those are only three things I can complain about - the rest was just perfect.
