Hotel Traube Rüdesheim

The hotel is in a great location in Rüdesheim am Rhein, looking over the river. It had its own underground car park which was ideal as we were travelling selling on motorcycles. The room was big enough for us and our gear. There is a very pleasant bar and terrace at the hotel which seemed quite popular. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Rüdesheim is a really nice place, with enough to entertain for a few days. It is a short walk from the hotel to numerous restaurants and bars. It is also close to the train station, the boat river stops and the cable car. All are within 5 or 10 minutes walk. The cable car is a great experience and it was very interesting to seen he views over the Rhein and the monument Germania.

The only downside we felt was that the car was in the sister building not the main building, this was not a major inconvenience but did mean a bit more carrying of gear. However the security that having the bikes garaged meant much more.

Smooth check-in by very friendly staff, clean room with clean bathroom, complimentary water in the room. Location is perfect, right in the heart of town, walking distance to everything. Loads of restaurants allover. On the corner of the famous Drosselgasse. Had a glass of great wine at the hotel bar, local Riesling, a must! Private parking possible in their garage, also a public parking field around the corner. Breakfast was more than I expected, with smoked salmon and champagne. Will definitely be back! Danke schön!

Absolutely ideal location if you are hiking the Rheinsteig (N/S or S/N) as the route passes the upper cablecar station and the lower station is barely 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet would put the offerings of most supermarkets to shame - and the quality matched the variety and quantity! Friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable and clean rooms (the entire hotel was spotless).

I didn't know there was a pool and sauna included until I checked in, but these were closed, unfortunately. Due to the proximity to the railway line, there is quite a bit of noise. I would still stay here again.

Reception was open even late in the night. The receptionist was super friendly Very friendly staff in the breakfast area Clean room Very easy to reach from the train station and in one minute distance to the Drosselgasse Elevator Nice breakfast (however the space is very small) Nice view over the Rhine from the window Very comfortable bed and duvet (really much better than most hotels I stayed)

Because of the bar next door it was impossible to sleep till 00:00 - live music with the microphone made it feel as if you were in that bar No kettle, no coffee maker, no fan in the room Nobody told me about the pool and it was written nowhere

The location of the hotel is very good. From the balcony you have a beautiful view over the Rhine. You can take lovely walks in the area between the vineyards and through the woods.

A disadvantage of the hotel (or at least our room) is that on average every three minutes a train passes, which can be heard very well in the room.

Nicely placed in the city centre, great breakfast. We were welcomed despite arriving half an hour earlier for check in, and helped with luggage when we wanted to visit the city in the afternoon after checkout.

The room service got a bit confused with our check-out time, but was rather friendly, so that it did not result in disturbance

Very nice hotel on the bank of Rhine, close to the train station, boat tours, tourist information, and basically everything. as Rudesheim is quite small. Very good breakfast. Staff was very helpful, and they graciously changed our room when we asked.

Clean, good location, affordable, and good value. Breakfast was above average.

Rooms on the smaller side and noisy if other travel lees are loud in the hallway. Room door doesn’t provide soundproofing.

Clean comfortable room with a small fan. Light switches next to the bed made it easy to turn off the light from bed. The bathroom was well stocked with soap and toilet paper.

Location and friendly reception. Clean and fresh room. Superb breakfast choices.

Insisted on cash payment saying that they had a technical problem with card facility.
