B&B Hotel Potsdam

It was very cosy, small room with bed and a place to sit and eat. Location is top, as it's very close to the main station. Design is very modern, enough place for two.

The bathroom was very stinky, like it was not properly cleaned for a very, very long time. Second: someone entered to our room before 8am in the morning. No harm happened, but that was very creepy, especially when doors should be not opening without the key-code.

Great place overall. They will most likely have all your needs covered. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful.

My room was not ventilated properly before arrival as I could feel an old-people smell lingering. Fixed with a quick window opening. Bathroom had a slight smell of sewage, which persisted throughout the entire stay even with ventilation on.

I really liked the easiness of staying here -- starting with the smooth out of hours arrival, finding the room clean and ready.The main advantages are the setup of the room, as well as the great location next to the train station (and not far from the city center).

There is only one thing I really did not like: pillows. The pillows on the bad were big a thick. But that is perhaps what many visitors prefer.

It's very close to the Train Station with many restaurants and shops - we really loved that. Also city transport is right next to it and it's easy to take bus or tram to many touristic places. If you prefer to walk, it's 15-20 minutes walk from the old city. Room was clean, nice and cozy, with big window and nice view of trains. It was quiet, trains weren't a problem even with opened windows. WI-FI was ok, we also appreciated free parking.

There was no kettle in the room. TV channels were mostly in German.

Convenient and near to the central station. A good choice especially as we arrived late in the evening and it is a very short walk from the train station. Comfortable room. The no check-out system makes it really easy and we do not need to wait in a queue to return the key after our stay.

Air-conditioning was somehow not working properly. Opened the window from time-to-time as it got rather warm with the closed windows. It might help to put some instructions on how to operate the air-conditioning remote control.

Just like what you would expect from such a hotel chain. Simple, clean and seems rather like a new building. It is good for someone wanting to be close to the train station, but you can still walk easily to/around town. At the time I booked, it was among the most affordable option around.

Pillows are these shapeless german-style things... unfortunately.

Late Check-in was good. Breakfast was good. Location is very good. (5 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof) The size and the door lock system was good. (It was an electric get in/out system not a physical key)

Maybe it's just me but the price is a bit high for a one night stay. (considering the fanciness of the hotel) The breakfast could include some hot meat such as bacon and sausages. The breakfast time (30min) could be a bit longer.

The hotel is close to the bahnhof which opens the possibility of easily reaching Berlin by train/S-bahn and also profit from the infrastructure (shops, fast food restaurants, bike rental). Even though the hotel is by the station, the rooms are quiet. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel has only one elevator, which brings with it queues at peak times.

The breakfast was varied and very good. There were vegan and gluten free options for those that needed them. The keyckde to enter the building and the room was very easy to use. The location right across from the train station was simple to access after a long train ride.

I always look for parking as the main reason for a hotel. There was plenty of parking but it can get full on my 6 night say, 1 night I got the last parking space. A couple of minutes walk from the station.
