Novina Hotel Tillypark

Staff is very helpful. Even though I had my reservations about the parking after booking the hotel, the car park belongs to the hotel which is behind the building. There is no CCTV, however it was very safe. There is 24 hrs reception. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel should put good and clear information regarding the parking. After learning it is not closed/ secured parking, I wanted to cancel the reservation and find another place with secured parking however it was refused( as per the cancellation policy) and my concerns were not taken into consideration which is why I was nervous about any breaking in to the car.

This is the second Novina hotel we slept in. Staff was all nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty much the same, large and clean, bathroom was a bit smaller then in the first one, but still large enough. Unfortunately beds are too hard in both, but this one has a free parking which the other one didn't have. Breakfast was good but not nearly as good as in the other one.

We were hoping for the same great breakfast as in the first one, but unfortunately it was not to be. It was still good but selection was way smaller and it wasn't as tasty.

Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Restaurant open in the evening. Great location close to public transport into city centre (U-Bahn 5 mins walk away). Plenty of parking available, even at busier times (weekend). Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms big with excellent bathroom facilities (walk-in shower, free toiletries etc)

Would have preferred a kettle in the room for making coffee/tea. Free bottle of water only upon arrival, after that only use of minibar which was expensive.

The hotel is located in a quiet area close to the subway station and it has a huge parking lot. The breakfast has a good variety.

Regarding the room: it was our second time in this hotel and we experienced the same issue with the sink, the plug got stuck and water was not draining. The door from the balcony makes terrible noise when being opened which can disturb the neighbours . The breakfast room can become quite chaotic when the hotel has a high occupancy rate, the people working there seemed a bit overwhelmed, but were still trying to be nice.

We had a very good one night stay breaking up a long trip. As such, the location was fine for us, especially as there is a great Asian fast food restaurant nearby :) Free parking and very nice breakfast was a big plus for us. The room was large and well equipped. Also very quiet which we appreciated a lot. As visible on the pictures, the rooms/furniture are not the newest but not run down either. A new set of paint for the walls would be necessarry though. We asked for a large double bed which we were granted - found out there that they were actually two matrasses put together. We had been trying to avoid this, but it turned out to be all right in the end. The bed was also very soft, a bit too soft for our liking but this is a question of personal preference. Wifi worked well. All in all we found it a good value hotel and we would be happy to return.

We were a bit cold in the evening. It was possible to set the heating higher but unfortunately it didn't change the temperature. I guees that we could have told the reception staff, but we didn't feel like doing it before bedtime - maybe they could have helped us. Also, the floor on the bathroom is really cold, some floor heating would be nice. Bring slippers.

miscalcullated the final payment, but it was resolved quickly (I checked the invoice after the payment); unfortunately the airco of the initial room that was assigned to us didn’t work, so they moved us to another room (also resolved quickly)

It was nice to be in a hotel with more modern amenities and a larger room than we had the previous few nights. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were very good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. While not within easy walking distance to the old town of Nuremberg, the subway is literally right out the door and it is a short trip. The neighborhood of the hotel was quiet and nice. If you have a car, parking is free and easy.

The hotel is located near the Underground (3 min walk), so it took circa 15 minutes to get to the city walls. Parking is behind the hotel and it was easy to find it. We had a spacious double room with a shower box in the room which was quite funny and with a view of the inner block of buildings, so it was very quiet. The best for us was the breakfast - many options to choose from and we could come between 6:30-10:30. It was a lovely stay.

Fabulous breakfast, great selection including hot food. Close to metro (5 mins walk), a few stops and you are in Nuremberg. Ample parking. Great big bathroom that looked newly refurbished. Air con worked!

Our room smelt a bit odd. The bathroom was modern but the rooms themselves felt very dated. We weren't sure if the sweets on the beds & the water was free or not. Previously reviews said they were charged & there was also a price list so it wasn't clear. The kids were disappointed when we wouldn't let them eat them for fear of being charged.

Breakfast was fantastic; lots of choice, attentive staff and nice breakfast area. Our room was spotless and we had armchairs that we're very comfy. Free parking behind the hotel with no height restrictions. The nearest U-Bahn station was only 3 or 4 minutes walk away.

Shower cubicle was not very private, it was within the bedroom area (not in a separate room) with only a frosted glass panel to hide your modesty! It's a good job I was sharing the room with my husband!
