Top location, near Center and stations, with a parking on site. Nice breakfast with Kaiserschmarn(I’m not sure I wrote it correctly but it tasted better than in a fancy restaurant I visited previously) Staff helpful and friendly, accepted our early check in without any extra charge

Railway nearby, although isolation is decent you can still hear the train passing by. When we first entered the room there was a weird smell a though the sanitary doesn’t work properly or someone used it recently. Otherwise- nice and clean. A bit too expensive in my opinion

Close to trainstation (and with good isolation only the slightest sounds from the passing trains with an room at the trainrail side). City center at walking distance.

It was impossible to open the windows (no opening mechanism, so this is by design). I would have like a bit of fresh outside air instead of via aircon only. I asked for parkingspot, these were available. However by email I received a quote of €9,50 per night but somehow I had to pay €36 euros for 3 days. I only realised this afterwards and I`m not sure how that relates to the quote of €9,50 (3*9,50= 28,50)

The room was very attractively furnished, well equipped in terms of facilities.

My room (I cannot say if this is a general trend), was very cold and despite trying to increase the temperature, it kept defaulting back to 20 degrees- however it felt far colder. The air conditioning also kept beeping throughout the night which kept walking me up. I also found the breakfast very limiting as although there were gluten free options, being gluten and lactose free was very hard to navigate as the milk either had lactose or gluten (hafer milch is not gluten-fee, soya milk would have been more flexible), and there there was no lactose free yogurt options to accompany fruit. Given the price of the breakfast, it isn't worthwhile if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

Position is perfect to visit Essen, bed was cosy and breakfast was rich and of high quality. Staff of breakfast are really polite and delicate.

A member of the staff of reception behaved in a rude manner, refusing to continue to discuss about a question\doubt I presented on payment and the way the receipt was written. The hall of the hotel is, on my opinion, too cold, aseptic and empty, needs some easy-chairs.

Great hotel, central location, near to train station, parking availability, good breakfast, nice room, modern. I appreciate they always do check in and check out procedures at the arrival, you are able to pay and get your invoice immediately. The staff always ask if you need parking, if you want breakfast, how to access the free internet, times for breakfast. Very organised and efficient!

The pillows and towels were a little bit smelly but everything looks clean.

Great room with a nice bed and a good specious desk to work on. The bathroom was modern and the breakfast was generous and included something to everyone's taste (including options for vegans). The hotel is on a walking distance from the central railway station. The subway station Bismarckplatz is closer though (U17 and U18).

Very friendly receptionists, exceptionally clean rooms, 7 min walk from the station, smooth check in. Worth recommending if you dont mind staying a bit further from the old centre. The hotel is located next to the train tracks, however, we didnt hear any trains / great sound isolation...

Price/quality was great, however, I would be happier with a kettle and some tea/coffee in the room. All the rest was perfect.

The hotel where i stayed is excellent satisfied, pleasure and comfortable. The breakfast was great tasty. Bedroom was very cleanliness. Staff was very friendly and helpful. i will like to visit this hotel again and i will recommend everyone to visit this beautiful hotel

Great location 5min from the station, good room room it was large and clean, friendly reception personal and affordable bar.

VERY expensive! I went during a SPIEL event in the city and I Understand that it's good business but 700 for 3 nights is ridiculous for the same price i would not return again despite the good service and nice rooms it was over priced

The hotel was silent on the inside, no noise from the railroad. The staff helped us to offer us a room quickly, on arrival, although they had to do an extra effort for this.

Parking exit was difficult to figure out, the help button difficult to find. We had to wait 5 minutes before we were seated at breakfast.
