Super 8 by Wyndham Munich City North

We liked the hotel, very nice and clean, quiet and modern. Martin the Manager was very helpful and outgoing to help us with details, instructions and directions. Thank you Martin!. The food was just perfect in the morning and the staff was very nice and ready to help with things we needed.

The TWO things we didn't like... 1) The light in the bathroom LIGHTS UP THE WHOLE ROOM and wakes up the other person. Very bad design. 2) The internet was PITIFUL... the speed was like 25-30 years ago DIAL UP. I am a network engineer that needed wifi but got nothing. We had to go down to the reception are to get a 10-15Mgbite speed on a good day! The hotel like that often has OPTICAL connection. In today's modern technology that is almost a MUST for those "working on the road" people. Otherwise they will avoid your hotel.

very comfortable, cozy. i loved in particular the access by a card also the variety of lighting allows you to pick the most comfortable one as i am sensitive to artificial light. comfortable check in and check out, very nice shower, a lot of towels, nice soap also i think there was a shampoo

i struggled to find a heater controller (even a heater itself) so i felt a bit cold but not critical. a bit far from the center, though easily accessible by transport (i personally was searching living in this area on purpose) minor cleaning issues like when i came at the check-in time the given room was not yet cleaned but the receptionist gave me another room without any problem. my new room had half finished water bottle which i think was supposed to be a gift from the hotel not sure, it had the “super 8” label also make sure you are okay with the wall between the shower and the room being transparent 😭 hopefully, there are different rooms in case i would want to stay here with someone else

Relatively cheap option for Munich. Room and restroom with nice space, power sockets available on both sides of the bed, small office table and two other retractable ones which were useful for leaving small things around. Rooms cleaned every day. And it was really quiet. Could barely hear anything from the corridor. Location is not the best if you are utilizing public transportation, but still good. There is a tram line close by and also bus stops. You can reach U-Bahn easily by bus (one stop in the express) or by tram (München Freiheit). Breakfast was also worth it.

There was not even an electric kettle in the room. Probably this was stated in the reservation, but would be a nice addition. Restroom had no real division between lavatory, toilet and shower. It was ok, but not the ideal. Transportation was good, but no direct link to city center and central train station by public transport can be annoying sometimes.

The hotel is very clean and the room was decent, very quiet (even though we were close to the reception) and with a nice, big bathroom. It is not in central Munich but it is conveniently close to an enormous trade show centre (at Lilienthalallee), which is why we chose it. There is a small snack bar at the reception so you can grab some food or a coffee on your way out, and there are some restaurants and amenities (for example an Aldi) within walking distance. Very good value for the price.

Breakfast was not included and was €15 per person (but we chose to pick up something at the snack bar instead).

Overall good, clean, comfortable and (compared to others at that time) cheaper hotel. Location is far from city center, but for business trip that was not relevant. There is end of tram line over the street, so connection to city should be OK. Parking is available on the side street, we were able to find parking spot within 50 meters from entrance. In the area there is grocery shop and two pizza restaurants, quite good I can say. Hotel breakfast is paid separately (€15) and is good, not spectacular, but you have variety of food to choose. I would say standard hotel breakfast, what you would expect.

Our booking took a while, also on other evenings there was big queue of people coming inside. Rooms are very small, for some people with need of working from hotel that may be disadvantage. There is no closet for clothes, just 3 hangers, table, chair, small cabinets at bed side. Two retracteable shelves. I had to store clothes in my bag next to my bed. Sometimes the situation at breakfast was chaotic, you have breakfast permission card, that you give to the staff as proof of buying the breakfast. Staff is doing other things too and they sometimes not remember people, who gave the card already.

I always stay in the Munich Super 8 when in Munich. On my last trip I stayed there 3 different times. I enjoy the convenient parking available. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are really nice and beautiful. The hotel is in a great location and easy to get to. There is a great breakfast here as well. I have been staying here for years and will stay here again the next time I get to Munich. The bathrooms are very nice and spacious with a nice size shower. And best of all I enjoy the price to stay here.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about staying here. Everything went well. I can't wait to go back some day.

I always stay at the Super 8 North when I am coming and going out of Munich. It has a great location for easy access by car and great and free parking. I also love the 24 hour check in because I come and go at very late hours. The staff is incredible and nice and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and descent size. The bathrooms are nice. The breakfast is really great with lots of selections.

There isn't anything I didn't like about the hotel. That is why I keep staying there again and again.

The persons working at the front desk were very nice. The breakfast was good enough to start the day and fair for the price I paid for my room. The location in my case was excellent because the hotel was close to my places of visit. Personally the room was super clean and with enough space. Excellent that I was able to use the parking in the basement, a little expensive but I didn't get wet. The price of the room was fair and proportional to my experience which was very good.

Check in was easy, location is decent. They let us leave our luggage at reception several hours before we could check in.

Rooms don't have any wardrobe, the bathroom in the room is divided from the sleeping area with a fairly transparent glass panel so your roommate (or person who you travel with) can see you taking a shower. AC was working but it was not powerful enough even on the lowest setting.

Nice hotel for a few nights. Free parking in front of the hotel (if you have luck - and we did have it ;). Close to public transport and great connections to city centre. Aldi and some bakery shops near by. Very nice staff, helped us with getting to city centre. Very comfortable beds. Near by (few minutes by car, 25 minutes by foot) is Motorworld Munich - if you like really good cars it's a must - real feast for the eyes.

Room could be a little more clean (dust on the floor) but in general it was clean. Mainly german tv programmes.
