Living Hotel am Olympiapark

This is a really nice hotel in a very quiet residential location, but with an U-bahn station within a short walk that is only 4 stops from the Munich main railway station. Everything about the hotel is great, apart from a lack of air-conditioning - although this lack of aircon is not unusual for Munich hotels. However this can make it quite hot for sleeping for those of us from cooler climates (e.g. Scotland). A fan is provided which does help. There is a small kitchenette and 2 330ml bottles of beer are provided in the fridge each day, which is a nice touch, also 2 small squares of chocolate. My room had a balcony that overlooked the restaurant / beer garden which was a nice place to sit. The beer garden closed at about 10pm so no problems with noise for sleeping.

Air-conditioning would have been nice - fortunately the weather wasn't too hot...

Room was nice and cosy - balcony was a great addition, the little things in the kitchen were good and there were proper utensils to cook and eat in, staff was friendly, late check in and check out was smooth, public transport and super market was nearby, overall met expectations!

There was construction going on which made the room very noisy during the day, the mattress was uncomfortable and it was difficult to sleep well on it, house keeping staff would just barge into the room without waiting even a little bit which led to an awkward situation. They should wait for a minute or two before unlocking and coming in.

The location was perfect for the short trip, within walking distance of the Olympia Park and also close to the U-Bahn. The mini-kitchen in the room and the grocery store next door made it so convenient and a really enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Could have used another cooking utensil or two in the kitchen (a spatula and a wooden spoon), otherwise they had pretty much everything one might need.

Excellent, friendly staff. We have a problem with the sink - a technician was sent at the first request despite the day off. Convenient location, you have a metro station or a tram in 500 m from the hotel. Very small but good equipped kitchen. Clean bathroom, good room. Supermarket close to the hotel.

Very similar to a student hostel. There are probably people who don't like it.

Staff were very efficient, young multi cultural people with a super attitude to their work, we were very happy to be greeted with such enthusiasm. A very cool relaxed vibe in a great area with an exceptional Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

A wee bit loud due to the EDEKA Shop next to the hotel, but on the flip side if you require anything to eat, drink for in your room it couldn't be more convenient.

A hotel apartment with modern facilities with a kitchen. very close to the tram station and olympia park. A big supermarket available just besides the hotel. No noise at night and you can have a good night sleep without any disturbance. All staff are kind.

toilet brush is dirty and it would be better if they clean it properly

The room was pretty spacious and the cleaning service was very good, they did a very good job. The staff was also very very nice and helpful. With that I have only nice things to say about the place. Location is good, not perfect. But apart from that, super nice place to stay!

The staff are extremely helpful. The rooms and facilities are flexible and well suited for various types of visits. The staff are always available. Well located for travel. There is a handy supermarket located adjacent to the property.

The room was almost too warm for sleeping (heavy duvet), even with the window open. Outside temperate was about 25 during the day. It would be very helpful and raise a star for me if they automatically emailed invoices upon check-out.

Fast checkin, room not new but clean.

There was no AC, so we opened the windows, but without a wind room haven’t been cooling much. We were sleeping with an open window and at 7 am noisy construction work started on the street. I guess it’s temporary but nevertheless.

We booked the hotel mainly because of the good location next to Olympia park. Besides location, the staff was very pleasent and kind; breakfast was cold but decent. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is free parking in the street in front.

No A/C in the rooms which is too bad; bathroom is a little bit outdated and mould in the shower is not that inviting.
