Leonardo Hotel Munich City South

The hotel was clean, there was a bus station in front of the hotel. Metro was near by and there were a lot of restaurants near the hotel. the staff was very kind and helpful

the bed was not the double, it was just twin beds made like double, that’s why every time beds splitted. It was not comfortable

We had a lovely room with an amazing view, very clean, all staff members were very nice. Amazing breakfast. The room temperature was also just perfect, and the bed and linen were super comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing stay, thank you!

The bed was amazingly comfortable, the only thing I didn't like is the rubber inner lining which was noticeable when you slept (for me, it meant I woke up a few times because it felt clammy). Our coffee machine didn't work, but that's a detail. The cleaner did come into our room despite the sign saying please do not disturb - thankfully we were already up, but in another context I would have been really mad.

Great breakfast, omelet only on weekdays. Definitely great and helpful staff. The parking lot is expensive but easy to find free parking space on the road (Passauerstraße and Zielstattstraße)

Despite we have paid the full price during the booking, they deposited an additional amount (>€ 200) on my credit card and released it one week later. It was unnecessary, I think.

the hotel room was nice, clean and quiet, the house keeping did a great job everyday to clean our room. The receptionist was nice and kind. i like how the hotel has bar in it and the bus stop was directly in the front of the hotel, really practical.

the shower cabin was not practical because of the gap under the door, it makes the bathroom wet even u already close the shower cabin door properly. because of that we always need a fresh towels and bath mats everyday because of the water leaking everywhere.

The hotel is in great location. Very nice and clean hotel.

The cleaners need to understand that they can't just open the door and walk in. On 3 occasions they didn't even knock and walk straight into the room.

The price in the time of Oktoberfest is ridiculous, you could have presidential suite in any 5* hotel for this price if you go outside of the festival season. The bed had layers that kept sliding down but the room was clean and cosy. Location was really convenient and they had a basement parking (parking podium next door) that connected to the hotel. There’s a self service laundry, supermarket, bus stop and train station just a few minutes walk away. The staffs at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

The housekeeping and maintenance was a bit disappointing. The table lamp wasn’t working and it’s too dark in our room, the maintenance team did not fixed or replaced the bulb after we had notified them.. We stayed there for 3 nights in a very dim situation.. The housekeeper just make the bed on the 2nd day but without vacuuming the floor and clear the thrash.. it was better on the day after.

The property is located in South of Munich. Public transportation connectivity is great since there’s bus stops at the actual property. There’s an Aldi about 500m away from the hotel. Haras and Am Haras bus stops are about 3-4 stops away. The breakfast for €18 per person isn’t a bad deal too. Special mention to Mr Suresh and Miss Larissa for being very generous and helping me with taxi and check out when I had only a few minutes left for departure.

Great welcome from Dominik (reception) and Jeika (Housekeeping) on arrival. Jeika was exceptionally helpful with information - and provided us with a kettle, milk and teabags which is not standard. What a delightful woman who offered custmer service second to none. A lady who clearly loves her job and loves people - she is a real credit to the establishment. The room was cleaned well and comfortable - although I found the pillows uncomfortable (too large). A good location with good transport links tothe city centre and other parts of Munich. Would definitely recommend.

The receptionists and staff in general should be better informed about the line train service. I was given wrong information how to get to the main train station, the line was not working for construction reasons. I was so stress to catch my train. Furthermore, I took me more than I thought just because I got the wrong information. U7 is not working in Station Harras.
