Hotel Italia

The location is great, the room and bathroom were clean and nice, the heat was perfect functional, the breakfast was good (not so various, but it’s ok for a breakfast), the staff from the restaurant is kind. I recommend this hotel. I am not sure how is in the summer because there is no AC in the room.

These are not so important things I didn’t like but I will resume them anyway: I didn’t like the fact that elevator is not functional ( I guess this is for a long time, reading other comments too), the staff from reception is not one of the best(not so kindly). Also, I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t want to do the check-in 1 hour earlier than normal time and we had to wait 2pm.

My mother and I came to Munich for 3 days. We decided to stay near the railway station and the historical center, in turn, so as not to waste extra time and money on moving around the city. The hotel is a 10 minute leisurely walk from the train station in a very lively area. There are many establishments and shops in this area. At the entrance to the hotel there is a sign with its name - not to be confused. The hotel staff are very friendly and pleasant. The floor can be accessed by stairs or using an elevator. Since we lived on the second floor, we only used the stairs. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. The windows are located high, they overlook somewhere in the courtyard. After 22.00 the noise in the area subsides, nothing interfered with sleep. The room was non-smoking. The bathroom had all the necessary accessories. There were also white terry towels that were changed every day. The room also had a TV, work desk and chair, as well as a fridge with drinks. A mini-kettle, two mugs, tea, coffee, sugar and a sweetener were waiting for us on the table. The bed had two separate mattresses and white clean linen. Near the bed were bedside tables on both sides and nightlights. Also in the room was a telephone, a wardrobe with hangers. Breakfast was on the first floor. There was a buffet table with different snacks for every taste. You could also make yourself any coffee drink thanks to a good coffee machine. Various juices were also available: orange, berry, apple, etc., and even water. Employees cleaned the tables, wiped the tables behind each client - nice. Internet worked equally well from anywhere in the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and can recommend it.

It would be nice if there were slippers for the room and Badezimmer

The hotel is 5 min walking from the train station so is really convenient whether you arrive in Munich by train or flight. The rooms were big and comfortable, breakfast did not have a big offer (too German type of breakfast) but it was good. For just 2 nights it’s a good hotel to stay.

The elevator was broken and we were on the fifth floor. It looked like it has been broke for a while, even though we were told that it was something that just happened.

I stayed at hotel Italia the second time at Bauma. This hotel is situated in 3 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof (main railway station). So it is in the center. And it's very easy to get anywhere from it. The room is simple but very clean. Towel changing is every day. And they have very good breakfast with salted salmon - it's perfect for me) it's nice to see the stability - breakfasts are as good as 3 years ago when i was here. Recommend the hotel for business trips!

It's a little bit noisy in the street at night because of location but closed windows solve this problem

Convenient location, close to old town and central station. Good breakfast. We choose it because of closeness to central station as we planned to travel for 1- day trips with train around Munich and we were satisfied with our choice.

Active district with noisy street, but if the window is closed then it's fine.

The hotel is located in walking distance from the tourist attractions and center of Munich and also 5 min walk from the train station which is a great for day trips around Bavaria. Breakfast was okay although in was exactly the same 4 mornings in a raw. Room was small but clean, bathroom was very nice.

The reception staff was not very friendly. There were some stains on the sheets and the doors were paper thin - you can hear everything from the hall.

The small room was nice and clean, breakfast was good. The surrounding of the hotel didn't give you the feeling of being in Germany, but in a multicultural place. The city was not far, we could walk there.

Parking was far and expensive, the filter "Parking" was set, and an e-mail was sent to the accommodation, but it was not possible to get any information before our stay. It was not possible to park the car for some minutes in a legal way in front of or near the door to unload the suitcases. The park-house was about 10 minutes from the hotel and it smelled awful.

My wife and I lived for a few days in a hotel room, It was a really great experience: - receptionist was a very hospitable and nice person, he helped us a lot in solving some problems - hotel staff: clean and comfortable - the room had a TV, a bed, a sofa, a wardrobe, a table, chairs - the street is quiet when the windows are open to the courtyard (but the main outer street is very noisy sometimes) - central location, very convenient We can really recommend other people to stay at this hotel!

The hotel is situated close to the main train station. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The beds were normal sized (like the should be!) and not boarderline so that me girlfriend (thin gal) and i (big guy) had plenty of space so that we neednt to be afraid to hurt each other during the night! And staff were nice and helpful

The area in which the hotel is situated is a relatively loud one (we stayed DURING the week, not on the weekend!). The area around the reception is pretty narrow. The only elevator there had only place for ONE PERSON, so we always took the stairs in the 3rd floor where our room was.
