Hotel Demas City

The hotel staff are warm and friendly especially Laura Hemmer who always goes out of her way to assist us. We also like that the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores and a walking distance to the train station. Even to Marienplatz and a lot more. Housekeeper also changed our towels everyday. There is always free water. I love also that there's plenty of clothes hangers and storage places. The room was big enough to accomodate our 6pcs of big luggage plus others.

Our room was situated infront of the street where it is quite noisy. The bed sheets are also grainy in texture. It felt itchy and uncomfortable... The pillows are also too soft and only one pillow per person was provided. Free water provided was the sparkling one which we do not drink.

The Hotel we chose, for its Location and pricing. Walkable (15 mins Maxm) to Marienplatz and MOST sightseeing locations. (We enjoy walking) The staff is EXCELLENT. Sadly I have forgotten her name. Shy yet extremely helpful. She was on duty on the 18th night. I must add that all the staff were good.

Directions to the hotel given by mail, were TOTALLY useless. They could have given better details eg. If they gave the names of the road, at the main train station, it would have been a cakewalk. Because, the Hotel is very well located.

Location was excellent, 3 min walk from underground. Approx 10 mins walk to Marienplatz. The staff that managed the 24/7 reception were brilliant. We had 3 double rooms here , and the cleanliness was amazing. Unlike some hotel websites , the pictures don't lie. Beds extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent. Highly recommend the breakfast offered here for a set price, with a great selection of continental and the added options of Salmon, eggs, bacon and sausages 😋 . Will definitely return here and 100% recommend this hotel to people Munchen bound

Couldn't find fault with anything here, what a lovely little hotel

The hotel is placed in a one way street and it is only about a 5 minute walk to all the shops. Turn left out of the hotel and you have a fantastic coffee shop and right takes you to a small convenience store and on to the major shops. Across the road through a small alleyway you have a small supermarket. You were far enough away from the noise of the main roads and trams but close enough to go to the shopping areas. The hotel itself is deceiving as it is only a small entrance but their is 5 floors which is accessible via a lift. The breakfast is simple but a decent selection and the rooms are clean and comfy. The bathroom is a wee bit small but the shower is extremely powerful.

No safe in the room, which in this day and age unfortunately is a good thing to have. The Wi-Fi is okay, but not for a big download. Also which would have been good but not a deal breaker, a kettle and maybe a small fridge. But as I said it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

Location is very good for tourist. Staff is friendly and breakfast area (5th floor) feels very comfortable. Breakfast food is good (regular). There is a small garage at basement accessible by a car elevator. It can park about 10-12 cars. You drive in the narrow alley way right next to the hotel, to a self operated car elevator (press down button like elevator, open the door yourself, drive into it, close the door, and wait for it to go down, then find a parking spot. Likewise when you are coming out. Reverse into elevator, and go up). There is also a public parking garage opposite in few blocks away.

Room is smaller than the perspective of photo shown with limited walking space especially the 3 bed option (3rd bed is Murphy bed pull down from wall). There is no AC but there is a fan. Not much complain as it wasn't really that hot at night though outside is 90s during the day. Bathroom size is rather small but serviceable. For its price relative to other hotels it is decent.

Very clean room. Central location. Friendly staff.

The hotel room doors slam into the lock automatically. This resulted in a super loud door slam noise and was waking me up every morning when people on our floor left their rooms. In general, the rooms are nicely isolated (you barely notice other hotel guests). However, while temperatures are high during summer months it is hard to leave the windows open since the street is very noisy too.

Room was simple and cozy. Very very good staff. I notice the management is very good as I can see one senior staff guiding another junior staff for morning and night shift. Excellent. Toilet was clean which fulfill my request. Thanks again to Hotel Demas team :) there are restaurants and cafe nearby too. So you don't need to worry for breakfast lunch or dinner.

The place was located in an area where it seems abit dirty on the street. But is manageable.

Location. Quite close to Múnich Hauptbahnhof (main station) and from main attractions of city Center. Rooms are comfortable enough to have a good rest. I didn’t have breakfast so I cannot comment on that matter.

Neighborhood for me was a little bit scaring. But nothing bad happened to me so if You’re not out too late it’s ok

The option service of free drink or room being cleaned was an excellent idea. Also the location was brilliant.

Unfortunately when choosing the room to be cleaned, none of the dispenser, towels, bedding were changed, the beds had been made but no bins were emptied. Also breakfast food was not refreshed with additional food, when items were gone there was no replacement.

So quiet, which we really loved. Helpful staff, great having lockers for us to leave our stuff on check out day. Loved the later checkout. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice coffee provided. Good showers and maintained temperature well. Reliable wifi. A very comfortable stay!

The extra large double bed was actually two singles pushed together oland one of us kept falling through the gap during the night. Two single duvets wasn't ideal for a man over 6 foot.
