Drexel´s Parkhotel

The hotel has a good location. It is close to the main sights to visit. The room is large, with twin beds. Unfortunately, I found only smoker rooms available, and I am a non-smoker. So the strong smell was uncomfortable even with the window open all the time. However, for a smoker it is an ideal place. There is a TV, yet all the channels are in German. I managed to find one in French, though. There isn't a fridge or AC, and it was hot even at night. The comfort box in the toilet contains a very harsh nail file, which is not usable; cotton swabs and cotton pads. There isn't any shampoo. The bed is rather tough, yet I loved the duvet, so comfortably pluffy and warm. There is a sauna, which is great. On the third day only did I get a robe and slippers for it, though. There is the possibility to choose not to have your room cleaned, and get a present for it. I was not informed about it, and I found out about it just before checking out. Even though I made the bed myself and took out the waste daily. So you can choose to go green. The wifi tends to be slow at times, yet usable.

Great location close to central square. Nice room with big windows even though a little dark despite that. Good breakfast (extra charge) except I didn't appreciate that there was an extra charge for coffees without any apparent warning of the fact.

Absence of a fan in the bathroom (not great with 3 people!) and also the sofa bed (triple room) was really very uncomfortable (normal beds were very good). When they replace the carpets, something brighter and more contemporary would be a good move!

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the old town, the rooms are big enough, the beds are comfy and we slept very well. The breakfast is correct. The hotel is very pet friendly. The staff is nice, welcoming and very responsive to the clients' requests: we asked them, if possible, to let us park in front of the hotel since we had a dogtrailer with two big dogs in it and they reserved a spot there right away and gave us rooms with a direct view to the dogtrailer (thank you!). We liked it so much, and the old city aswell, that we canceled our stay in Switzerland in order to stay one night more in this hotel😊

The shower worked well, good flow, and hot water. Sufficient bed linen was provided (not the usual German tradition of a thin summer duvet in winter with a single pillow). The bed was comfortable. Helpful staff - I had left my toiletries bag at the previous hotel. Very good location for FMM airport. I recommend the pseudo-Taverna opposite the hotel for low cost meal.

Lack of supplied shampoo. The shower was 8/10 clean, but some black marks remained.

Nice location, easy access from highway, friendly staff and simple, clean standard make this place a reasonable choice to stay.

Nothing to complain about unless you expect butique standards.

The location was perfect - walking distance to the entire town. The room wasn’t modern but was very clean and comfortable with amazingly strong pressure and hot hot water in the shower which gives you great relaxation after a day of exploring the area.

The room was a bit small with no power outlets comfortable for charging multiple devices, and the Wi-Fi wast working properly.

Big, airy, clean room. Hotel right in the heart of Memmingen old town, near to typical restaurants. Hotel staff welcoming, very helpful and responsive to queries before and during stay.

Breakfast was filling and good, however it would be better to have a more varied breakfast to include more choices, especially with regards to sweets.

The staff, at reception and breakfast, were excellent: friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and had a variety of items. Nothing to do with the hotel, but our flight was an hour late, and we arrived at the airport after 10 at night. There were no buses and we had to wait over an hour for a taxi. In the rain. But the hotel reception was still open, thank goodness, and the receptionist was very helpful.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room which would really make a difference. Would also be great if they had English speaking TV.. movie options for guests if a cosy night in was on the agenda after site seeing all day..this definitely would be a huge bonus

The hotel has a very nice location and staff was very kind and helpful. The room was big and clean, although a bit old. Nice for a short stay but a bit expencive.

No sound isolation. Windows and doors are very old and you can hear everything from outside the room. Also, for a small town it is a bit overpriced.
