Hôtel La Grande Bastide

We stay in La Grande Bastide every time we come to the area and it's always a great experience. Nothing to complain about - everything is at the highest standards. The only thing to note is that there is no dinner service, so you'll have to book something in town (which is within a walking distance). Special thanks to the owners and staff.

Location is superb! Charming decor, quiet location.

They only offer breakfast (limited buffet - not refilled regularly as items are consumed) and snacks for lunch. Staff is friendly but French style.

This place is glorious! Small boutique hotel and every detail is beautiful. We spent a lot of time by the lovely pool. They say the only have “snacks” for lunch but the salads were delicious and filling- with a glass of rose by the pool we couldn’t have asked for more. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning.

We loved pretty much everything! The room wasn’t huge but I think we selected one of the smaller ones so it makes sense. Really no complaints.

The staff were so helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived ! the setting and view of the historic town was wonderful . Breakfast Al fresco in the sun was a delight with beautiful food .

Lovely hotel with super helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for another visit. Located just a few minutes away from St paul de vence and close to a few other restaurants and sites.

Quite close to the main road so can be slightly noisy with traffic when out by the pool area, but not too bad.

Charming hotel, exceptional breakfast, excellent service. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Perfect view from room. Shuttle service into town very useful. Great place to base yourself for Saint Paul De Vence and easy access to Nice and Antibes.

Excellent location with superb views to St Paul de Vence with a great shuttle service available.Staff including Micaela and Sylvie were always so helpful. Breakfast and lunch were excellent . Garden with pool and jacuzzi were very relaxing.

We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. We found all the people who worked there very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful area of Saint Paul de Vence.

Nico the owner was very professional and responded immediately to any of our requests. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had high ended fittings and fixtures, Location was excellent and so close to the beach and dining options and was within a 10 minute walk to the old town.

To start with, big appreciation to the staff. They were so amiable and elegant throughout the week. The superior room was placed downstairs next to the pool with a separated terrace with a nice view of Saint Paul, especially during the night. The breakfast was great, fresh pastry and superb coffee. Nice parking spot and in case it is too crowded, the staff will assist you during parking. Will gladly return next year.
