BEST WESTERN HOTEL DIJON QUETIGNY

A nice hotel in the right place for a stop over as we drove down from England to the Alps. Staff were friendly and the room was actually very nice and clean. We paid extra for the secure parking around the corner from the hotel. We have stayed here before so we knew about how nice this place was and how well placed it is for us. Just outside the hotel is any number of restaurants for an evening meal. Shame the place next door got one of our meals wrong twice so we won't go there again but this isn't the hotels fault! Breakfast was good. Hot or cold foods with nice drinks/coffee.

A little bit expensive

The hotel was very modern and has some nice design choices. We booked two rooms on the way to and way back from another destination and on the way back we had a huge room with a separate living area, for the same price as the tiny room we had on the way out! Not sure why but it was a nice surprise. We had warned the hotel we had a 6 month old baby with us and they had provided and set up a cot in the room for us which was really appreciated. Breakfast was a great selection and the pastries were delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect for travelling elsewhere. Lots of restaurants around too and even a macdonald's! Staff were really friendly and one of the staff members really made a fuss of our baby which was sweet. We would definitely stay again.

The baby cot provided had the thinnest mattress, it was rock hard! We didn't expect a cot to be provided so it didn't matter, but maybe something to improve. We ended up padding the mattress out with bathroom towels underneath the top sheet.

We used this hotel as a stopover on our way home from Spain. After a long day of driving we arrived at the hotel which is conveniently located just outside Dijon next to a golf course, cinema and a couple of restaurants. This means that there is ample free parking close to the hotel. It's a Best Western so everything is professionally handled. The room is not very big but it had a comfortable big bed and a clean modern bathroom. Wifi was strong and fast. Downstairs there is a cosy lounge area/bar and a breakfast area. All in all a nice modern hotel perfect for a good night of rest.

Very smart and clean with secure parking. Great family bedroom. Handy for motorway network. Several (chain) restaurants nearby. Pleasant staff (except surly young lady at breakfast). We have stayed here before and will probably stay again next time we drive through France.

Room was too warm, despite aircon; bed duvets too heavy - a simple sheet would have been sufficient. No reception staff later in the evening; the duty security guard at reception was less convincing. Costs mount up stealthily - we paid €118 when booking was made (a month before) and then paid extra for parking (€10), our pet dog (€15) and breakfast (3x €14).

This remains my place of choice for an overnight stop on the way to the south of France. Have stayed here several times its quiet, comfortable and only 10 mins off the motorway. Its in a small complex with 4 restaurants so plenty of choice. For those wishing to go into the centre of Dijon there is an excellent tram service about 300 yards away. It takes about 15 mins and costs a couple of euro. Breakfast is quite good. Secure parking 10 Euro - must book in advance.

Great location, handy for stopping off mid journey. Tram outside takes you to the beautiful city centre in minutes. Local eateries were decent despite being chokka. Clean, well appointed rooms. Decent breakfast. Good, easily accessible secured parking.

Room door (125) kept jamming, requiring us to exit via our adjoining room. Without that option it's a clear safety hazard and needs addressing urgently.

breakfast arrangement in the first day of our stay was very unorganised we had to wait people to leave to eat with few options left for us. but consecutive days were better managed. yet breakfast options were limited with more pastry than vegetable options.

Big room, new and modern. Excellent bathroom, spacious, clean and neat. Excellent sound proofing. The hotel is just outside Dijon, with a convenient frequent tram that can bring you to the city center in just 15 mins. Convenient to leave the car in the free public parking nearby the hotel, and use only public transports in Dijon. In the evening, the nearby activity park offers entertainment (cinema, video games) and some bars / restaurants. We really liked our stay in this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from our ski trip (travelling to Calais), the location was chosen as a midway point. There was secure parking available which we needed as all our gear was left in the car overnight. The room was exactly what we needed after many hours on the road. Staff were friendly and helpful

Might be worth adding more detail on how to find the car park as we found it quite tricky to locate.
