B&B HOTEL Nice Aéroport Arenas

Essentially everything was great! Although the location is not in the city centre, it is connected directly with tram line 2 which takes around 15mins to the centre, and the trams are very frequent. Conveniently, it is also just 2 stops away from the airport and 10mins of walking to a railway station which connects you to all other nearby towns. The isolation in the room is great, so there is no noise at night and the bed is rather comfortable. Everything was very clean, with the option to have the room cleaned and towels changed every day. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom which isn't in the description of the room, so it was a nice surprise. Wifi worked well. The staff spoke English perfectly and they were more than helpful. There is an option to add breakfast which is 11 euros per person, and although there weren't many options, it was good. The overall impression is that this is great value for money when it comes to a short stay, especially as it is on the cheaper side compared to other places in Nice.

The only issue was that around the hotel there aren't any bakeries or supermarkets, so if you don't want the hotel breakfast, you need to go at least a couple of tram stops from the hotel to find it.

The hotel is super well located. The train station Nice St Augustin is only 7 mins walk away, the tram and bus stop Parc du Phœnix is 5 mins walk away. You can easily get to the city centre of Nice within 15-20 mins and the airport is only a stop away with the tram. The hotel staff was very nice and always helpful. The room was nice and comfortable.

The design of bathroom there was no door in the showroom, so water was getting split on the floor easily ( that’s just a personal preference) You had to schedule for your room to be cleaned, otherwise it would not get cleaned which was a bit annoying especially if you forget one day to do it but you can always get fresh towels from the reception.

Close to tram 2 giving good access to city and airport. Short walk to beach and Phoenix Park on doorstep. Breakfast was basic, but good and sufficient. Ordered hot food and drinks on evening - pizzas were excellent and good value for money. Rooms were quiet, well insulated and beds comfortable.

If you need to be close to the airport, the hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff here is great and very helpful. Most speak English and French. There's a small restaurant that I didn't use so can't say much about it. A room code is given instead of a card which was relief not to worry about losing a key card. It also works on the main entrance if you return late. The front desk is available 24/7. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

It's a bit out of the way to the city center, Old Nice, and the port. However, the tram is a few blocks away and takes you to all these places for €1.50.

I’ve been staying with my mum in this hotel for a while and it's been great experience. First off all, the rooms are very ergonomic, well established, comfortable and clean. the location is really good, its located near the tram station 2, (and it takes you around 15 minutes to reach the city center), International Airport - 5 minutes. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff. Marina, that served and welcomied guests on the breakfast, in particular. She is a very helpful. positive, professional personality and provided with the recommendation concerning the local places, where to go in the city! she speaks multiple languages fluently, so communicating with the guests in their native language. And the entire staff is also speaking many languages, in general they went above and beyond to ensure that we spent a comfortable time during our long stay. We truly appreciated your warm and welcoming hospitality! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Nice.

LOVE the reception desk! Pros: Extraordinary reception team. The team is very passionate, patient and show great kindness to us. We came to France without SIM card, the team told us where can buy it, how to activate it, which it’s a giant help for us. Besides, team gave us many tips, for example, how to go to Monaco in a rapid way, which is the most close station to the hotel. Too many examples to tell. Big thank you to the team.

Cons: The room is very tiny. It’s even hard to open the luggage. But it’s okay for just sleeping overnight with high ROI.

excellent location - from Phoenix Parc you can easily go to everywhere ;-) there is a very good tram connection with city center of Niece (ca.20min to Port Lympia). Room was not very big, but for a couple of nights (only for sleeping) it was sufficient, we didn't hear noise from the street. We were positively surprised by everyday change of towels. There is a vending machine if you are hungry or thirsty after normal hours of hotel's restaurant availability. There are some coffee points/bakery around but we did not use them (nor at the hotel) as we ate at our first sightseeing destination - each day different town.

in our room we did not have the hairdryer but it was not a big issue for us.

I loved the staff, both night staff (we arrived very late due to our flight being delayed) and day staff were spot on. The night staff at reception and bar area was really welcoming. The day staff at reception went beyond his duties by printing my car reservation as we had to make one via the internet and I didn't have access to a printer. That was very much appreciated. He also called us a taxi and helped us carry the cases down. Again, this is becoming a rare thing in hotels these days.

Nothing. They even had some brioches for gluten free people like me.

Modern, clean design, with air conditioning, comfortable beds and good blackout curtains. It was also very quiet and sound insulated, even from other guests The stall could not be more helpful. They were fantastic, and everything went so smoothly and efficiently. Would definitely use again.

Space was a little tight in the bedroom and bathroom, otherwise I would have given full marks for comfort. It was fine for an overnight stop between flights but using it as a base for a holiday would not be practical because of the lack of storage. You would mostly have to live out of your suitcase.

Room was spacious, quiet & comfortable, perfect for a 3 night stay in Nice. Bed was comfy, the room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Decent shower. The lobby & staff were welcoming. Good location in proximity to the airport, tram and train stop within 5-10 mins walk to take you into the city centre, Èze, Antibes, Monaco etc. Air conditioning was fantastic. Staff were accomodating for a last minute booking & allowed us to store our bags after checking out.

No ventilation fan in the bathroom.
