La Maison De Lucie

This charming hotel certainly exceeded our expectations from the minute we arrived. A walled garden surrounded the hotel and was magical. There were seVeral outdoor tables and chairs with flowers and other garden adornments. At the main door bright sunflowers welcomed us into a unique and well decorated interior. There was a bar, breakfast area and two sitting rooms which were lovely in design. The location was excellent as it was in the heart of the old city. It was less than a five minute walk from the main attractions, historical sights and restaurants. The owners made us a reservation to a fabulous restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again. We had an absolutely gorgeous view from our room.

There are no parking on premises. They offer off site parking for 15 euros a day or there's a public lot 1/2 block away for 10 euros a day.

Such a beautiful small but very stylish hotel. The interiors were eclectic and interesting. Our room was lovely and had views over a small garden. The staff were exceptional - really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they had so much pride in the hotel. The hotel courtyard was delightful with wonderful trees and plants. We ate breakfast here one morning which was lovely and beautifully presented. It is a hotel that you would be happy to return to and be sure that you woudl be welcomed again with open arms. We plan to return and will be sure to book again.

This is a lovely hotel. It's just a short walk down the not too steep hill to the port and in a quiet location. The owners of the hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly. The garden is delightful and the common rooms are elegantly decorated and refined. Breakfast was served to you at the table with freshly squeezed orange juice and there was no "bun fight at the communal buffet" required. Parking is tricky in the area and they have some spaces available that can be booked. I would gladly return.

The Maison de Lucie is outstanding in every respect. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, we were treated with such warmth and affection that we felt like we were at home. The building is just a short walk to town and is a home of historical significance that is lovingly restored and decorated. There are two (or 3?) indoor lounges that are comfortable and full of character...just perfect for an evening drink and the outdoor courtyard is beautiful and perfect for breakfast. Our room was at the front of the building with it's own separate entranceway...it was perfect in every way. I just can not say enough about the Maison de Lucie...but the real gem is the people who work there...they will do anything to make your stay is a good one and never miss the opportunity for a quick smile or wave...or chat! Merci!

This is a stunning boutique hotel right in the centre of the charming Honfleur. The attention to detail - from the beautiful courtyard to the furnishings of the room to the breakfast setting was flawless. Very comfortable bed, beautiful good sized bathroom and all spotless. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful and I would suggest taking their recommendations for food options. Would also recommend breakfast and the parking - although a small lane, we had a big car and were able to navigate it easily. Very very short walk from the property. All in all a perfect stay and we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the most exquisitely decorated hotels I have ever had the privilege of staying in. The period decor and fittings are all so perfect - but it is the attention to detail that also sets it apart from many a wet room/bathroom with room to move as well as a small terrace to enjoy a warm evening, made for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was ample and extremely tasty - homemade jams, freshly squeezed orange juice - what a treat. Our only 'complaint' - that we were unable to stay longer - thank-you Maison de Lucie for a wonderful stay!

Nothing - everything was wonderful, we were even given a small map with their recommended restaurants clearly marked, along with their phone numbers to facilitate dinner/lunch.

The place itself is very interesting and full of charm, although the room wasn’t big was comfortable, warm and cozy. The shower was powerful and huge, but what trumps everything I just mentioned is the treatment of the staff, it was exceptional, like meeting good old friends. Also I recommend having coffee in their lovely sitting room by the chimney, very relaxing.

The hotel is super cute and nicely decorated in a retro but classy style. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the beautiful yard, and the relaxing jacuzzi session. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, who carefully instructed on all the questions we had and ensured we had a pleasant stay. In all, it’s the perfect spot for a romantic weekend trip. Highly recommend :)

The wall is not really soundproof.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely lovely staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Early Eve drinks in courtyard, late Eve drinks in cosy lounge by fire, breakfast in parlour by fire. Every detail about the hotel was perfect, down to the brass beetle door knobs! Highly recommended if prefer to avoid new, modern, soulless hotels and love a typically French manoir, full of stunning decor and antiques. The animal photography book was fab!

If you ever go to Honfleur, this is the only place where to go...each room is different. I had my own private patio. François, the manager, could have been nicer and more helpful. He made our stay. we had a wonderful breakfast on the patio of the hotel. This is a hidden gem and made our stay in Honfleur a high point of our trip...
